Here's what I get when I run wballtest from 1/25. I've run straight, and w/ -loot, they both produce the following: 4 tractors 3 salvagers 0 afterburners ToApproach:0 Wrecks:0 Thanks for playing! There are 5 wrecks in range.

Quite the opposite actually... You'd be surprised how much can be made by looting and salvaging... It would be nice if the salvager would just loop through the belts, and drop stuff off at a cha. :)
