3 quick questions

Like the title says:

1) is the faction gear you purchase with dozekars head good enough for hardmode instances?

2) My current group set up consists of SK..INQ..Mystic..ILLY..Dirge..Sin..I am thinking of swapping the illy for a coercer. Would that be a beneficial move for my group setup?

3) I am thinking of swapping my mystic for a defiler for ER and I am told that defilers are better healers.

Input on those three questions would be appreciated, thanks all

If you mean heroic instances, yes. Just make sure you meet the crit requirements(250, 300 and 350 IIRC).

Wouldn't bother unless you have power issues. Illusionists still have a DPS edge on Coercers and coercers don't bring all that much extra to the table in comparison.

Wouldn't bother unless you need the extra healing for some reason. Keep in mind you'll also lose quite a bit of DPS going from Mystic to Defiler(from the priest and from AA's like Stampede).

I think you should move the Illy->Coercer.

My experience is that Coercer and Illy are now very close in DPS. Coercer, however, brings Coercive Healing to your shaman, and significant hate transfer, and utility abilities like Coercive Shout and Intellectual Remedy . For a one group melee setup as the OP has described, I'd always use the Coercer.

Last time I checked hate transfers don't stack and he already has an assassin. As for the rest, CS is about the only one I might miss once in a blue moon, but even less so these days now that SK's have Chaos Cloud(GS but you can cast it while running) and an easy way to reset the timer on it via Death March. CH and IR really aren't all that interesting, especially if you're only concerned with current heroic content, as the HPS needed just isn't all that significant.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to stick with my current group. I tried HM CD last night and was able to kill the drake after a few attempts. Pretty much every other boss is a no-go right now. Ill keep working at it and see what I can do. Thanks all.
