Autofollow warning for range

I 6 box 1 computer and sometimes get distracted running at full speed and someone gets stuck and left behind.
I'd like to write a script that says watch group members, when member is more than x meters away, do something (pop up a window, send me a tell, something)
can someone point me in the right direction on a similar script or somewhere I could read up on writing it myself.

You can look at BJ Looter from the SVN to see how to calculate distance between you and another person and look at BJ XPBot if you want to see how to play a sound.

Alternatively, I have a feature like this built into BJ Movement, which is available through an active subscription to ISXBJ. My script will monitor the distance of a person that you choose. If they get more than 50m away it will send them a tell asking them to wait up. It will continue to send this tell once every 30 seconds until the person is in range again.
