Bad Lag only when using Innerspace

So I formatted my computer a few weeks ago. And have been playing eq2 without IS for that amount of time. Today I decided I wanted to do some scripting but when I load EQ2 with InnerSpace it lags terribly.

I get no lag if I load up by launching EverQuest2.exe. But just loading through IS makes me lag for 2-3 seconds every 10 seconds, even on the login screen. Unloading ISXEQ2 doesn't do anything so thinking it doesn't have anything to do with the extension necessarily.

Any suggestions?

Ok so just an update: it only freezes when the mouse moves. But it completely locks up until the mouse stops moving. In fact, no lag at all if I don't touch the mouse.

Well as a last attempt I uninstalled everything (IS and ISXEQ2), deleted the program folder and reinstalled.

Working fine now so who the hell knows :D

Ok well interesting turn of events.

Now the game completely freezes while moving the mouse with or without IS. But it now ONLY does this on the character select screen and not in game.

Though after 8 hours of game play it started doing it while in my guild hall. So with that said, I'm still looking for tips from you smart people even though this has nothing to do with IS or ISXEQ2.

Well someone else replied having the same issue to my lavishsoft thread:
http://www.lavishsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=20707#20707

still no resolution though. And now it's happening again only when IS is loading eq2, and in all zones, not just character select.

No replies on this forum yet. Am I asking wrong, not providing enough info, or does just nobody have any suggestions? IRC chat has been pretty quite about the issue as well.

I think it's a simple case of nobody else around here running into the problem.

edit: it occurs to me that you could try disabling all graphical effects under Windows(disabling Aero as suggested in IRC comes close but isn't complete, check step 3 for further options) as well as running something like GPU-Z alongside EQ2/IS to make sure your GPU isn't downclocking itself for some reason during gameplay.
