BJ QuestBot and QuestCreator- Open Feedback/Suggestions

*This thread is for the purpose of gathering feedback and feature requests for BJ QuestBot and QuestCreator.*

So as some of you may know I have been slowly creating a bot that would follow a list of steps to complete quests. My original design was to keep my quest bot separate from OgreBotand to create my own basic (Nothing that would compete with OgreBot or complete heroic/raid content.) combat bot. However, this process is extremely time consuming. I have decided to scrap my current version and to start from scratch with OgreBot handling the combat routines. This saves me the time of creating a combat bot, gives the user more control over how their character does combat and builds on the great work that Kannkor has put into his product.

Obviously, I don't want to get rid of everything because there is some great stuff there. The main idea that I'll be keeping will be the group limit of 2 players. I don't want to create a product for people to blatantly bot 6 characters through a quest. Two characters running through content with one on auto-follow draws a lot less attention.

With a ground up re-write/planning happening, now is the best time to include features.

At this time, I will not be taking any new testers. I will re-post when I need more people.

Suggestions;

1; an option for a console command within the quest creator, for example,apply_verb or eq2execute usea abilityname This would be simpler than having 'special' and 'use spell' options as separate entities.

2; an extra option within 'wait' for in game time, some quests require steps to be done at a certain in game time.

3; If you will be using the same 'wait till out of combat' wait option in the new build, maybe give it a little more time, a few times in the past it would kill 1 mob of an encounter, think it was out of combat and immediately take off, moving the extra mobs with it.

I will post more if I can come up with anything :D

incorporate player scanner in the bot along with a pause command so we have a means of pauseing if random people get so close

1. Already done via the Ogre MCP Command List

2. Added to the list.

3. Able to tweak this when we get there.
