Brigand DPS?

Hey all. I am using the recently updated brigand profile (dudester) and my brigand pulls roughly 400k dps in a 8+ target aoe fight, and about 300-350k max on a single target. He is mostly EM 187stat raid gear but I thought his dps would be significantly higher. Anyone have a wicked script for a brigand or am I just expecting to much out of that class?

There are so many more questions than answers with this topic, what kind of dps is the group putting out? What is the group makeup? Who gets what buffs? Have you spent any time running the debugger via ogre and the console to see what the brigand is doing or not doing? Is your group adorned and reforged? These are just some of the things that will affect not only the brigs dps but the group. Remember this is posted ron the sample profile page.... These are sample profiles. It is up to you to tweak and adjust your profiles to suit your needs. Profiles can and do change based on the composition of the group/raid and gear.

Mob is epic x2 sometimes 4 adds with him at most but they get burned down with ae auto pretty quickly.

Group 1 makeup: Assassin, Brigand, Guardian, Dirge, Inq, Defiler.

Dirge buffs are on both Assassin and Brigand. RoA from Defiler is going to Assassin because I expect him to be the top dps, as the other toons are newer.
All toons geared from COE EM/HM and very few POW. Assassin using 4.0 delay, Brigand using 6.0 delay.

All toons reforged to available caps and 100% AE auto or as high as they can get (Brigand is 100% ae auto). All toons adorned (greens arent maxed quite yet, all are around lvl 27-31) All white adorned.

As for the brigand I have tried to match up what eq2flames mentions as a good CA order but I had terrible terrible results when I tried to make a Chain Tab out of it. I don't know the brigand class as well as I'd like and I'm researching more and more. The only thing debug shows me is that my brigand seems to try to cast Cornered repeatedly when he is out of range (I tend to keep myself targetted until all mobs are positioned on me before targeting to make sure brigand is within range) but the rest goes quite smoothly.

I do realize that my group is more setup to use a Mystic then a defiler for the extra dps buffs but I just prefer Defiler for survivability currently in the content we are currently pushing. I wish I knew more about brigands but I continue to research more about them and try to tweak for best results.

those numbers look to be on par for group dps and setup.....I dont think you have an issue.

Id agree the dps is decent given the group makeup and total numbers. One thing I will say, casting orders for players and bots can vary quite a bit. Try and look at them from a casting priority stand point, not so much an order. Chain tabs can be tricky for any number of reasons. Trial, error and the training dummy... =)

Okay, thanks all for the information. I'll just keep at it, hopefully get my brigand to the 1,000,000+ dps I'm looking to get from him. I will keep playing around with it!

And Eyedea does your assassin use 6.0 delay or 4.0 delay weapons?

Another thing that might help, depending on how often you visit the reforger. Visit the reforger, unforge everybody on your team's gear. I prefer to have them in a group and all by the reforger so you can see what their base stats are before reforging. Then run through each toon in the group adorning with white's/yellow's/red's. Then reforge based on what they need, I'd never reforge out of MA or ABmod, the conversion rates suck and you more than likely lose DPS. Hope it helps.

Your biggest handicap is that group setup.
I quite like the Assassin/Brig combo but the others are holding you back.

I try and avoid chain tabs at all costs
