Conji not assisting?

I recently geared a 95 level conji and started boxing him. I can't get him to assist the tank. I have the assist checkbox, the name of the person to assist in the list, etc. I've even tried forcing the assist via the MCP assist command. But the toon won't assist the tank. I can manually set them to target the tank, but when the toon heals or stoneskins it's pet, it changes target off the tank, and then I have to manually reset the toon to target the tank.

Has anyone else seen this? I'm using a slightly modified profile from Dudester off the wiki. Any ideas of how to fix?

Is the auto target checked in the auto target window if it is he's not assisting your tank.

Yes, I've set everything correctly for him to be assisting; checked it several times, and have plenty of toons where it works fine. Just not with this toon. I've turned on debuff and all the other settings, and nothing is being spammed or looks incorrect.

Just to be clear I am talking about the auto target window not the auto assist window. If the little togle is ticked even if there is no auto targets selected it will not assist your tank as the toon is looking for a auto target.
