This is a work in progress. Information needed:

Tower of Frozen Shadow x2 - Tserrina Final Encounter
    Drunder x2
Cyrstal Caverns - The Ry'Gorr Herbalist (Strat refinement)

I thought that having a thread devoted to the community giving tips on how to beat the various named encounters in this expansion would be useful. Feel free to post tips and I'll edit this post to include the information. Thank-you to all of you who contribute strats.

Disclaimer: I have updated the main posts with a workable strategy. This doesn't mean that the strategy I posted is the only/best way to do it for YOUR unique setup. If you can't kill a mob using the strategy posted in the main section it is recommended that you read through the whole thread for further information, as alternative strategies/helpful hints are often contributed by other players.

    Tower of Frozen Shadows

    Shadowed Corridor

Zone Tip: Most named can be dazed, stifled, stunned and mezzed.

    Xalgoti

FYI: Memwipes on damage spike, but it is very sensitive. May appear to be random memwiping.
    AOE: None worth mentioning.
Strat: I just stood and burned him in his spot. I'd classify as a tank and spank.

    Alvik the Cold

FYI: At 75%, 50% and 25% will attempt to heal to full. Click on the stove to boil water, which is then placed into your inventory as a clicky item.
    AOE: None worth mentioning.
Strat: Burn him down to each special threshold and have someone use the boiled water on him.

    The Armored Presence

FYI: Stoneskins every 25% and spawns 3 armored pieces.
    AOE: None worth mentioning.
Strat: Burn the named down. When he stoneskins kill the adds. If you don't kill them in ~30 seconds(I think), they convert into an add and heal the named for ~10%

    Vethilot the Corpsemonger (Quest Named)

FYI: Everytime an add dies, he ports to the add and proceeds to feed on it. He gains a buff each time he does this and heals a small amount. Also, gains a buff each time someone dies in the group.
EQ2Bot Tip: Run corpse.iss script to take care of clicking the corpses.
OgreBot Tip: Automatically taken care of by a script.
    AOE: None worth mentioning.
Strat: Burn named down while the aoe dps kills the adds. Destruction of corpses will be handled by which ever script you are running. This prevents the named from healing and gaining a buff.

    Sergeant Schriber

FYI: Spawns adds throughout the fight around the room. If the adds reach him they will heal him for ~10%.
    AOE: None worth mentioning.
Strat: Burn the named. Either mezz the adds, kite them or use a dps toon to kill them. They have almost no health or damage.

    Spectral Librarian Emiida

FYI: Use a mage dispel, SK dispel or Druid dispel to get rid of her heal/damage proc.
AOE: Project Knowledge (PK) and Gather Knowledge (GK)
Strat: Burn the named. When she starts to cast PK make sure everyone is around her. If she starts casting GK joust out to near the mirror portal. She'll summon some adds during the fight, but they are generally weak and easily picked off with AOE damage.

Tome of Ages Past (Quest Named)

FYI: At 75%, 50% and 25% he spawns a named add. Useful to stun/stifle/interrupt the named add so that it doesn't cast it's own adds.
AOE: Some quickly nasty aoes around melee range.
Strat: At 75, 50, 25 he spawns Named adds and goes immune. Kill the Named add. The Named add also spawns trash adds. You can burn them or AOE them down.

    Umbral Halls

    De'manti Sheda

    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Doubt, Misery, and Depression

FYI: Cure intensive fight with a nasty dot.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. I just AOE them down.

    Deception

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. Will summon adds, but they are really weak.
    The Imp Trickster

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. He dies and splits into adds, when the adds die he goes back to himself. Just burn everything.

    Narmek Barreka

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Seems like a tank and spank. May depend on what you choose. I did chest/weapons and it was nothing special. When he gets to 15% he sheds his armor and they become adds. At this point he is immune to damage until all of the adds are killed. The adds can hit like trucks so mezz as many as you can. Some are immune to mezz.

    Vhal Sera (Quest Mob)

    FYI: Stoneskins throughout the fight.
    AOE:
Strat: DPS named to 66%. He'll summon a lightning rod onto one of the group members and stoneskin himself. Position yourselves so that he is the closest thing to the rod when it's trap triggers. You'll have ~10 secs to dps him before you'll need to repeat the process. Around 30% he'll port you up top where there are 4 cubby holes with a pillar in them. As you approach one of the pillars it will be come killable and start to heal the named. Burn it down as quickly as possible. Switch back to the named and finish the fight.

    Ach'erin

FYI: Immune while his adds are up. When adds die they will spawn 5-6 ^ goos, which will memwipe every 5-10 seconds. Everything is mezzable. it's very very important you cure in the fight when the goos pop, otherwise Ach'erin will say something about his meal being marked and then port to whomever has the nox detrimental on them, and do ~500k damage.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank alternating between adds and named.

High Priest Mohnt and Drizzina the Lulled

FYI: Everything is mezz'able in the encounter, including the hammers. This can cut down on the incoming damage massively, if you've got a good enchanter. Note, the hammers depop, so need to be remezz'd on a regular basis.
    AOE:
Strat: Separate out your toons a bit. Two different adds will spawn. Axes (unkillable that poof after a while) and some maids or something. Kill the maids off then back on Mohnt. When Drizzina spawns, get aggro but don't burn her down. Finish off Mohnt, then work on Drizzina. She spawns adds, kill them then back onto her (or you'll get overwhelmed). The adds that initially come in are "a member of the congregation", who were non-attackable NPC's until then. Once the waves are done Drizzina spawns, with two buffs up. One heals her constantly(~60k HPS) and the other increases her DPS significantly. Her movement speed is ~30%, so you can either kite her or just keep her mez'd while you finish off Priest. Once down, move to the children and /dance on one of your characters, at which point her healing buff will then be removed. You can then either move do the choir and use another emote there to get rid of the DPS buff or just kite/range her. At ~20% first the children will add and then shortly afterwards the choir.

    Cara Omica (Quest Mob)

FYI: Run up to her to activate the encounter and quickly run away.
AOE: Curable focus damage 5k-16k elemental AE with 50% casting speed reduction, single target ~17k every 3 seconds uncurable arcane.
Strat: Kill the 4 specs that spawn. She'll summon a single player while you're killing the specs occasionally, but the bots moved out fast enough that she didn't get any hits in. Once they're dead, run up to her platform and it's a tank and spank.

Manifestation of Tserrina's Rage (Quest Mob)

FYI: Ghastly Curse - Cast on 2 people, if not cured it will uncurable fear. Can be interrupted.
    AOE:
Strat: Kill bride's maids then kill namer. Other adds will be called while the bride's maids are up. Bride's maids will be resurrected once.

    Haunt of Syl'Tor

Zone Tip: This zone seems to have 2 versions. The first one is the one you zone into. Then you.. basically flip it upside down, everything respawns, and you do it again. That's how you get 2x D'Kish and 2x Unmaskedchangeling (if you choose to do them before you flip the zone upside down). They all drop loot, so why not (other than if you do unmasked, you have to call out cause it locks you inside).

    Trouveur D'Kish

FYI: Uncurable curse that has something to do with ensuring your power is above 10%.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    The Unmasked Changeling

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. Sometimes memwipe.

    The Unmasked Changeling (Encore)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. Sometimes memwipe.

    Trouveur D'Kish (Encore)

FYI: Uncurable curse that has something to do with ensuring your power is above 10%.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Necretia Widowmaker (Quest Mob)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Pulled adds out of the room, seems he is rooted. Adds were standard tank and spank. Once the adds are dead, the named will become unrooted and move to you in the room. Tank and spank.

    Tserrina Syl/Tor

FYI: Tserrina - Starts to cast a curable elemental lifetap @ 75%. Uses a knockback at ~73%. Casts a curse called Curse of the Tower (Reduces potency by 175%, If cured this curse may spread to nearby allies.)
    AOE:
Strat: Phase 1: Tserrina - Ports and eats people or something, just ignore it and burn her / wait and she releases them. When she hits 50%, you enter phase 2.
Phase 2: Advisor - Spawns adds, kill them first then back on the advisor. When he dies, you advanced to phase 3. And for the first Advisor bit, the oozes will pop a Condensed Spirit if left up, and the rate at which he pops oozes increases as he gets lower in health. I suspect you need ~70k DPS near the end to keep up with the adds and do some non-trivial amount of damage to him between pops.
Phase 3: Spirit Advisor now only summons doors at 50% and 5%. About the doors, as long as something is hitting them, they won't spawn Condensed Spirit's. So, if you feel like co-ordinating your bots you can engage some to cut down on the adds. Alternatively, the spirits are fully mezz'able, so if your tank or healers can't handle the incoming DPS spikes of 6+ spirits and you don't have the DPS to keep all the doors engaged, they can be dealt with that way.
Phase 4: Run to dain, he blabs about something and imprisons her or something.

Tower of the Frozen Shadow X2

    Xalgoti

    FYI: Heal check fight.
    AOE: None worth mentioning.
Strat: I just stood and burned him in his spot. I'd classify as a tank and spank.

    Zorglim the Departed

    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

Spectral Librarian Emiida and Tome of Ages Past

FYI: Use a mage dispel, SK dispel or Druid dispel to get rid of her heal/damage proc. At 75%, 50% and 25% the tome spawns a named add.
    AOE:
Strat: Once the Tome is down to 25% burn Librarian down, but make sure they die within quick succession of each other.

    Romero the Angered

    FYI: Heal check fight again.
    AOE: None worth mentioning.
Strat: Burn him down fast. He has a high strikethrough chance.

    Vethilot the Corpsemonger

FYI: Everytime an add dies, he ports to the add and proceeds to feed on it. He gains a buff each time he does this and heals a small amount. Also, gains a buff each time someone dies in the group. There's a nasty uncureable curse that will be on one person that inflicts lots of damage over time and will kill them quickly if it isn't healed through.

    Cara Omica

FYI: Run up to her to activate the encounter.
AOE: Curable focus damage 5k-16k elemental AE with 50% casting speed reduction, single target ~17k every 3 seconds uncurable arcane.
Strat: Tank and spank. Burn down to 70% where she'll heal to full. She'll start to port you down below. Ogrebot will auto path you up, but you have to click the door. People who are ported will spawn a solo doppleganger of themselves. There is a black orb that spawns and floats around the room. It places a curse on you that does a small amount of damage, but prevents her from regenerating some health.

    Manifestation of Tserrina's Rage

    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat:

    a mirror trickster

FYI: Not a named, but a difficult encounter. Heroic encounter that will split into x2 mobs upon death.
    AOE:
Strat: Mezz the heroic mobs and single target them down, switching off to killing the x2's as they spawn.

    Vhal Sera

    FYI: Stoneskins throughout the fight.
    AOE:
Strat: DPS named to 70%. He'll summon a lightning rod onto one of the group members and stoneskin himself at this point he spawns a doppleganger of one of the raid members. They must stop attacking the named and kill the add or they will one shot themselves. Position yourselves so that he is the closest thing to the rod when it's trap triggers. You'll have ~10 secs to dps him before you'll need to repeat the process.

    Necretia Widowmaker

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Pulled adds out of the room, seems he is rooted. Adds were standard tank and spank. Once the adds are dead, the named will become unrooted and move to you in the room. Summons solo adds throughout the fight. Tank and spank.

    De'manti Sheda (Accessed via evac)

FYI: Starts with a ring event of heroic mobs, followed by epic x2's.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Tserrina Syl'Tor

    FYI:
    AOE:

    Aeri'ondi the Infectious (Legendary Ring/Bracer Patterns) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=96fd29ac37dc4dd2b75f309815e25398

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Clear trash in first room. Then pull Aeri into water. Then just drag him around zone when he drops acid. Tank/spank with movement...easy, but LONG fight with my 5 man (14min).

Styrax Flourescene and Anthocyanin (Legendary Weapon) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=4e724e950a17ef29cb84051b28d87cfd

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: non-agro at first, clear all the mobs in the area to make them attackable. Kill Styrax first, but make sure to pay attention to the announce text for Anthocyanin. Move them both to the opposite coloured area to the hue that Anthocyanin takes on, otherwise he heals Styrax

    Gerg Teae (Legendary Ear/Gloves Pattern) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=3249f9fc94880f2e9b569bf4609c04fd

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Goes underground and memwipes every 20%. At 20% he memwipes and ports two people away, who are then trapped and have to melee/DPS themselves free(like the spider woman Kunark raid and the webbing). While trapped they also take damage, although it was fairly negligible. He also drops ~3 "a pool of blood" which trigger a root and 5% per ticket debuff.

    Lord Doljonijiarnimorinar

FYI: High DPS Check Fight. Constant HP/MP drain.
OGREBOT TIP: Lord Bob script is available on MCP.
    AOE:
Strat: He has NO AE Autoattack (no frontal).
He hits a bit hard with auto attacks.
He hits VERY hard when he drains your health.
He damage from auto attacks AND draining your health is rough.
I WISH he healed .5% every 10 seconds.. He heals more like 10-15% every 20-30 seconds.
He puts uncurable elementals on 1 person in the group at all times, this is a MASSIVE power and health drain. You need to heal through it. It does not hit tanks/priests. So just have your chanter manage power (yes, he will get nailed with it, and he just needs to regen/mana flow).

Here is the concept of how I killed him.
Keep everyone on the same pad, so everyone can auto attack him. Remember - he doesn't frontal so his placement is moot as long as he is in range.
When he ports, he will do the acid on 1 of the 3 pads, get everyone off the acid pad. Then get everyone onto 1 pad (to maximize dps).

Rise and repeat. IMO, you need to maintain 50k DPS on him in order to win.

I found it is easiest to see the acid on the extreme performance setting IE the lowest setting. You can see a green glow on the column before the acid hits you have about 10s. After port I take a count on what toons are on what column and once the glow happens move tank healers dps. Only one column gets the acid so you only need to get the toons off the one column. If after port there is more than two on a column I move one off so as to limit how many toons I have to move when acid pops.

    Living Walls

While not a named, some people seem to have difficulty with this. Every 25% the wall will spawn adds. Switch to them and kill the adds. Use mage dispel on "prophet" mobs to get rid of the damage shield.

    The Ascent

Zone Note: When you come to a door with 2 epicx4 guards.. you don't kill them. You go around them.

Icefang the Cruel (Legendary Neck) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=30695e2ea9bd631d5a297f6fe3b6993c

FYI: Due to the slide effect of the ice, wedge your toons into a corner to avoid moving.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

Forgotten Overseer Brokentusk (Legendary Waist/Helm Patterns) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=bead4a4b58b8c8f73027edf532a5208c

FYI: Stoneskinned until ... It changes depending on something.. I think it's what you aggro first. If you aggro the named first, you kill him first, then the adds. If you aggro the adds first, you kill the adds first, then the named. I've had it both ways.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Witch Doctor Vuh'Duh (Legendary Cloak) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=78fbf8d3e185c53d5fb2a132ecec3f8a

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat:Every 25% he ports to the center with a laser beem in his hands and goes around the room. If it touches you, you die. You run around (clockwise) killing icewalls to get past. It seems completely random where he starts his beem after the first time. I had it spawn on top of me twice, in different parts of the room and I was instantly killed.

Rahjondo The Eastern Lord and Dustan The Southern Lord
    (Legendary Charm/Shoulder Patterns) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=20e24abe07ebab683037b2d207f5bb92

FYI: Chance to memwipe on knockback.
    AOE: Knockback
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Shardhammer Sergeant
    (Fabled Range) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=cda8801fbd1cd78c07306271ccef75a5

FYI: Lots of weak adds. Easily AOE'd down.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Goredth Maulhammer
    (Legendary Secondary/Fabled Waist) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=45064fb3378283f8b1621e9279d172ba

FYI: A clicky item is used to avoid him instant killing you.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. A clicky item must be used on him to avoid a fail condition.

    Fortress Spire

Agna Icespear (Legendary Range) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=7b8ba3424b824d28134e0a6cc9d60a5b

    FYI:
OGREBOT TIP: Use OgreFollow to keep your bots together. Ensure that you turn off movement (ie. Move into melee range/Move Behind).
EQ2BOT TIP: Use StayFollow to keep your bots together.
    AOE:
Strat: When she ports, where ever she stops, move to her or you die. She will port herself 6 times and stay wherever she lands on the 6th port. Will begin porting every 30 seconds.

    Dockmaster Jit'coel (Legendary Wrist/Chest Pattern) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=1523ab4db2c6f95e293f1ea25275edc1

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. Encases someone in ice once per minute. Switch to the ice and kill it or it will do lots of damage to the person who is stuck.

Abelbrow the Bookie and Quanth Coldblade (Legendary Secondary) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=c32ad0553bbfb31d6e21cf7a123a35f0

FYI: Will heal to full if they both don't die within 10 seconds of each other.
AOE: Amplifying Aura (Decreases mitigation of noxious, elemental, and magic by 20k), Debilitating Aura (Decreases mitigation of physical by 20k)
Strat: Fight them apart. Abelbrow doesn't melee so you can have a mage (or anyone) tank him. Quanth Coldblade will add onto the fight when Abelbrow reaches 80%. Make sure they die AT THE SAME TIME. I killed one and the other had 6%, and I couldn't burn them down, so they both healed to full.

    Bount Crushingfist (Legendary Cloak)

FYI: Memwipes if healed to full. Adds have an AOE knockback. Adds memwipe individually. Adds can be crowd controlled. Named is immune to crowd control effects.
ISXEQ2 TIP (Thanks Kannkor): 1. Put 2 people at 2 of them and your tank at the last one.
    2. Make sure your mouse is hovering over the buttons on each instance.
    3. When it's time, hit pause, hover over the button.
    4. Open the console and type: relay all Mouse:LeftClick
    5. Push resume.
    AOE:
Strat: Kill the adds. He will port around and memwipe, just snap him back. The adds do a knockback also. Once all the adds are dead, move to the center of the room. When he ports up to the top, he gets healed around 1% per second. There are 3 little knobs at the bottom, they must be clicked within 1 second. ISXEQ2 currently does not see these, so you can't use ISXEQ2 to assist. You also can't click them while casting an ability... He has INSANE HP. He will heal to full while up here if you do not click him down. If he heals to full, he memwipes. If you click him down, he doesn't memwipe.

    Grand Restorer Lingwal
    (Fabled Primary/Legendary Chest Pattern) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=99de7c16be6dd3fd26ea038106c94991

FYI: Curses (Ferverant Sap every 17 seconds) people with a power drain. Instant death if power falls below 5%.
    AOE:
Strat:place on the very outside (on those little things sticking out) of the circle. He curses people which drains your power over time. If your power goes under 5% with the curse on, kaaaaaaaaabooooooom. When the named casts Ferverent Sap it will apply the curse to someone at random (may even reapply it to someone who has it already). At the same time it does a check of the group's power and if someone is below 5% it will instantly kill the person who he was putting the new curse on. The longer a curse is left on the person the more power it starts to drain. He curses a LOT. 2 priests cannot keep up with it. So it becomes a bit of a rotation. Cure the people with lowest mana. It's all about mana regen to prolong the fight, and DPS to shorten the fight.

    Kael Drakkel Contested Dungeon

Almost all named in here are pure tank and spank. If you can't kill them, the most likely scenario is you lack the gear. Below are the little (mostly obvious) extra pieces of information.

All named have a curse, which tends to range from a group wipe to a stun/fear and minor damage.

    Legatus Skarl
Location 1: One of the rooms by Tormax
Strat: He puts uncurable stuns on people, then also puts invisible stuns (doesn't show in your det. window). He mem wipes also. I just sit and beat him down over time, I do about 33% DPS to him as opposed to a namer that doesn't stun this much.

    Sven the Exactor
    Location 1: Entrance left side.
Strat: He AE knockbacks and fears (or used to fear).

    Primis Arkend
    Location: Don't remember..
Strat: He puts an uncurable on people (I think range based), then he does Annihilation - Anyone that has that uncurable on them gets raped in the face. My tank can handle it, but no one else in the group can. I just tank him far away and when he does anni just move your tank away. No one else will have the buff.
Oh, and he memwipes to add to the fun.

    Dominus Gandrrig
Strat: Spawns an add at 50%, add has next to no health so burn it.

    Quartermaster Stvens
Strat: Knockback, memwipe, uncurable stun. Tank and spank.

Interrex Grankr - Knockbacks, memwipes a lot and summons orbs(flames of Kael, frost of Kael) which have to be AoE'd down.

    New Kael:

Faber Jonenry - comes with two duhjalm friends with a stupid amount of hp(10mil each). Tank'n'spank.

Praefectus Ptor - summons an add which needs to be switched to straight away, as ignoring them seems to result in more spawning faster(record was 7 before I wiped, and they don't depop with the named).

    Iceshard Keep

    Krindem Sigmundr (Legendary Weapons/Forearms Patterns) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=edcee9336d708fbd52603842a9658ea2

    FYI: Has a knockback.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

Sjurd Randskeggr (First Room on the Left)(Legendary Ear/Hands Patterns) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=1c3e901bfafa9afb9a11c39a65316019

    FYI:
AOE: Damage aoe. Squishies stay out.
    Strat: Tank and spank.

Grundr Kolfrodr (First Room on the Right)(Legendary Weapons) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=1b3d5596235c56e506a51df9dd665afe

Strat: Drops embers on the ground. Move away from them as they blow up and hurt really bad.

    Halkon Tormax
    (Top Left)(Legendary Charms/Fabled Ear) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=9a8a89028ab6b7b9a97074441bbb2de4

    FYI: Minor knockback. Fully crowd
    AOE:
Strat: Comes with 2 adds. Something "ports" you around a little bit. They put out quite a bit of DPS until you get the adds killed. Pulls any trash left in the zone at 5%.

    Vilmen Riggandr (Top Right)(Legendary Wrist) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=07f90df1cc85cf262cfe5049eee43503

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Has a knockback+knockup+memwipe+elemental dot he casts periodically(might be HP linked). DOT needs to be cured asap or it'll tick for stupid damage. I found it best to have the bots pushed into a corner and the MT with his back against the nearest bed. Get ready to use lots of snaps as his memwipe rate is about 2x the other named.

    Praefectus Kriegr (Legendary Neck/Fabled Range) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=3bf3f07d65a7318d60c1883876b37c8e

FYI: Adds can be mezzed. Adds change from "Charging" to "Aiding" based on if they are engaged by the name. Once they have changed to "Aiding" they give a dps buff to the named until killed.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank with summoned adds(time based I suspect). I had 3 of the adds by the time he hit 9%(160k DPS), so I just ignored them and healed through the damage. Has a knockback and memwipe.

    Throne of Storms

Wolfmaster Oor, Treachery and Ragefrost (Legendary Cloak/Head Pattern) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=e486a543b239f46966ab38765129f797

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: You'll be target locked to one of the wolves(the druid I think) until it's dead, otherwise it's a tank and spank, making sure everyone but the tank is in front. Didn't memwipe IIRC.

    Allectus Prime Karsgard
    (Legendary Ear) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=16891d1ab3e62dc75a3c66103d433a4c

FYI: Summons 3 adds starting at 80% health. AOE Knockback. An orb that needs to be moved or killed away from group to prevent a stun.(?)
    AOE: Nasty frontal.
Strat: Tank and spank switching off to the adds as they come in or mezz the adds as they come in and burn really fast.

    Weapons Master Korin
    (Legendary Ring) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=f4ad0ed111bf52515c69dd77bfe34ce0

FYI: Massive memwipes. Curse cures are important.
    AOE: Nasty frontal.
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Arch-Depracator Vorkin
    (Legendary Waist/Fabled Ring) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=b4c93ada6eea44ae05dac7a7d6c97f67

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Summons an add every ~10-15% health, kill the add quickly or he heals up. Otherwise a tank and spank.

    Decanus Prime Vundr
    (Legendary Charm/Shoulder Pattern) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=ea013b472089f27bcc07b684bc2412c9

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat:Drops orbs which does a forced target clear. It's possible there's away to stop them, but I just blue AE'd them down. Turns into a lion at low health(don't remember the percentage), at which point it becomes a straight up tank and spank.

    Tribunus-Prime Hagandr (Need loot confirmed) - http://eq2.zam.com

FYI: This guy is brutal compared to the rest of the zone. Has 3 linked guards who memwipe, debuff and heal on their own. Hagandr manadrains, AE dd+knockback and starts throwing out ~40k focus AEs at 20% every few seconds.
    AOE:
Strat:1) Position healers and DPS near the blue dot
    2) Run tank and coercer out to ~15m of the closest giant in the encounter
    3) Use the Coercer encounter mez and pray at least two of the normal giants gets mez
    4) Engage ranged attack on Hagandr and DM on SK to get agro and pull him back to the cubby near the blue spot
    5) Let the rest of the bot group kill Hagandr and up to 1 add while I manually maintain mez's with the Coercer and move back to manaflow/cloak/PoM/whatever for ~30 seconds before refreshing single target mez's
    6) At 20% hit Bladedance
    7) 10% use Verdict
    8) Kill the adds one at a time

I tried tanking all 3 adds at once but couldn't do enough DPS to kill Hagandr(due to him being healed), hence the mez route.

    Temple of Rallos Zek

Scerd the Gutless (Sets the difficulty of the zone)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Killing this guy makes the zone easy mode. Leaving him up sets hard mode.

    Neocorus Rikrlander (Easy Mode)

    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Arch-Castigator Godahus Rekkr (Easy Mode)

    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat:
Strat 1: He puts a debuff on you, that if it expires, you explode and die. It lasts for 60 seconds. Running through the entrance way refreshes the debuff back to 60 seconds but does a bit of damage (making it so you can't stand in the hall way). So every 50 seconds (I do 30 seconds so I don't fall behind doing 6 people) run into the entrance to fresh your buff, then back out.
I tank him on "inside" of the room (on the ground), while everyone else is outside (up on the lip). Other than that debuff - tank and spank.
Strat 2: Setup a camp spot location and tank him away from it. When the uncurable is about to expire, joust out and use a mage, druid, root, anything to keep him in place long enough for the aoe to go off. Joust in and repeat as necessary.

    Arch-Judicator Solfleinn (Easy Mode)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Spawns an add around 25% (Maybe 50%?) called Malaxxinan. I simply ignored him (tank had aggro) and kept burning the Arch. Arch died and Malaxxinan disappeared.

    Prime Imperium Hammarmund (Easy Mode)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: 3 mobs. Kill them all at the same time. When you kill a mob, it makes him stronger. He knockbacks A LOT. I place with my tanks back up against the round thing he spawns near, since this negates the knockback completely. Usually I kill 1 of his adds off by accident early on, and have to deal with him in beef mode for a bit. Try to avoid this unless you're very well geared.

Idol of Rallos Zek (Easy Mode)

FYI: When he stoneskins you can use a dispel to remove it.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank, but it's a tank gear check.

    Neocorus Rikrlander (Hard Mode)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: I go close to where the name is and there are 2 pillars i set my zerk on one side and the whole grp with DFCS on the other side "before the bump for KBs and range to tank" in the middle of the pillar. DPS name down you need 450kdps + for this guy throughout the fight you will get adds that memwipe, I burn the name down and usually end up with about 5 adds.

    Arch-Castigator Godahus Rekkr (Hard Mode)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: As soon as u enter his "circle" there are 2 entries I use the closest to where u come from the begining. I set all my guys with the same DFCS a few steps to the right from the middle of the V as soon as u get in the room on the ground not on top of it. and my tank on top of the left side there is a V as well I put him right in the middle of the V. I pet pull him so i my tank doesnt take the KB and then i wait on the middle of the room so i can place my self right infront of him with my back against the wall, if u have him on the side or not right at 12 oclock at about 50%-60% he will do a huge kb that will send u flying across the room or outside the room and if he goes outside the room he will get a buff that makes him pretty much impossible to beat. What i usually do is clear my curse at 65% and then at 35% and not based on time on the curse what i usually do is go to the others tab and hit jump that will refresh the curse on everyone other than my tank due to the fact that he is up on the ledge so i get down of the ledge with the tank i simply jump and i refresh the curse. Here is a pic of how i pull him.

    Arch-Judicator Solfleinn (Hard Mode)

    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. Same strat as Easy Mode.

    Prime Imperium Hammarmund (Hard Mode)

FYI: Will cast Equalize (Uncurable Curse) on a target (See screenshot below).
    AOE:
Strat: Similar idea as the EM version, but includes the beefed up damage and chaos you would expect from a HM named. Positioning is up to you, but I have included a picture below of how I setup. To start the fight you will generally want to focus on Hammermund first. How far you take him down before switching to one of his adds depends on your group's AOE dps. You'll want to kill his adds really close together in health and hopefully have Hammermund close to death as well.

    [IMG] [IMG]

Idol of Rallos Zek (Left and Right) (Hard Mode)

FYI: Will cause rocks to fall on you from the ceilling. Damage and knockback. The longer the fight the more rocks that drop.
    AOE:
Strat: Start with the Enraged. Burn to 75% and when it stoneskins switch to Empowered. Burn to 85% and when it stoneskins switch back to Enraged. Continue in 20% incriments until dead.

Alternate strats can be found here.
    Spire of Rage

Ragebourne Maculla (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    1. Curse on the tank needs to be cured asap. Curse information: (Both the curable and uncurable drop AGI by 500, 100% hate gain reduction and 1920 physical mitigation debuff.)
    2. Two adds that do very little damage.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

Aktu, Drewsho, Sumora a.k.a. Triad of Elements (Legendary Primary Weapons) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=7f6dfbd87cf692d035ec121a414c3e8e
    FYI:
    1. Trio are perma rooted in the middle of the room and immune to damage (Unless too many essences reach them. At that point they unroot themselves and rage all over you.
    2. Aktu can be crowd controlled. Drewsho and Sumora can't be crowd controlled.
    3. Aktu's idol relates to a large heal buff, Drewsho's idol relates to a damage buff and Sumora's idol relates to a power drain buff for the merged boss at the end of this fight.
    AOE:
Strat: Kill the essences that are released from the idols before they reach the named. It will take killing 3 in a row each to kill the named. When you kill an essence a crystal will spawn. It must be moved out of range of you or it will knockback and stifle. Aktu needs to be mezzed to prevent him from spawning a boar add that target locks. The essences can be rooted and mezzed to assist in preventing them from reaching the named in the middle. Once all 3 named are dead you must quickly choose an idol to kill based on what buffs you do not want the combined boss to have. Once the boss has combined himself the fight becomes tank and spank.

    Hamslammer
    (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI: Summons adds at 85, 71, 52, and 25.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. If group dps is low kill the adds as they spawn.

Thana Llac (Legendary Waist) - http://eq2.zam.com/db/mob.html?eq2mob=971259481cd1c490acf6454b8cea51ad
    FYI:
    1. Splits herself at 80 and 70. The adds do not die when she does.
    2. She can cure herself.
    3. Power drain.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

Grolla Skullwielder (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    1. Power drain and stun reactive buff.
    2. At 65% will spawn three adds. They can knockback. When they are killed they become a puddle that will snare you for a large amount if you go near it.
    3. Throughout the fight will summon hammers on top of players that will continually knockback and cause some damage (Like the last guy in Deep Forge[TSO]). They do disappear, but it takes a long time for them to do so.
    4. Really nasty melee ranged aoe from the named.
    5. At 30% the named will teleport back to it's spawn point and start to rampage. This really hurts.
    AOE: Large melee based AOE
Strat: Tank and spank with scripted events listed above.

    Strategist's Stronghold

Prime Marus Nhak (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI: Comes with 2 adds
    AOE:
    Strat:
Adds memwipe, so I killed them.
He ports people to the platforms on the sides, so put your campspot between them so it's safe.
He spawns massive amounts of adds at a time. They are a linked encounter with no HP. They were on my warlock so I targeted them and they blew up in a matter of 1-2 seconds. I'll probably just blue AE them next time.
Overall, tank and spank with some adds.

Djuul Ripclaw (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat:
Pure tank and spank. Did absolutely nothing that I could tell.

    Shini-Zonn Livia (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat:
Does a large knockback, which will knock you into aggro radius of the trash up the ramp. So clear it first.
    Spawns adds and roots herself.
At around 55% (maybe time based?) she spawns 3 dogs and goes immune. You'll need to burn 1 dog down ASAP. Each puts an uncurable debuff on you, and they put out some serious DPS.
After you kill all 3 dogs, wait like 20 seconds and she should become killable again. When she was low (15%?), she dropped a turd on the ground that took everyone to 10% health per tick. I moved away from that. She drains power at this stage to 0, so it's just a tough it out until the end from here.
Hardest fight so far (of Spire and Strat).

Prime Shini-Zonn Hypatia (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    1. Named spawns 3 adds on a timer.
    2. Named puts a shield up , when this happens , red emote , do NOT hit named.
    3. Adds need to be killed first , then back to named.
    4. If you get arcane affect , don't cast till it's cured , it will power drain you.
    AOE:
    Strat:
Spawns adds (not sure if timed or percentage).
    Has a knockback.
Does an uncurable charm on the tank. Doesn't last "too" long.. but good luck tanking the named plus a few adds when this happens.

Kill new adds , back to named , rinse repeat.

Will charm tank , lasts around 5-10 seconds.

    Tower of Tactics

Blademaster Anival (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: 1 mob - Kill him. He splits into 2. Tank them seperately or he turns into a big mean mofo that will 1 shot you. Immune to root/mez as far as I can tell.

    Arch-Bishop Rektor (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: 1 named and 2 trash. Burn the adds to reduce the outgoing damage, then burn the named. Named heals himself (maybe the adds too?) quite frequently. Long boring fight.. around 7 mins at 300k DPS. Frequently dispells himself..

    Lord Kefzaanin(Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: At 75% the big hour glass (Test of Time on radar) is killable and adds spawn. When I killed the test of time, the adds stopped spawning. So just off tank the adds while you burn the test of time.
At 50%, he spawns a bunch of madiens and starts healing, if he gets above 75%, you go back to stage 1 (the hour glass spawns again).
The madiens you need to drag into his spawn point (Time_field on radar) and they will poof. However, it seems like they only eat the madiens once per every few seconds, and they memwipe like crazy. So you need to drag them in and out over and over until they are all done. After this, just finish off Kefzaanin.

    Lady V'uul (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Fight her in the center of the room. At around 75% she ports to the center and there are floaty things that fly around, if you're not in the center, you seem to get "Cannot see target". That's all they seemed to do.
She spawns assassins at the outside of the room, I ignored them until they actually came to me (took quite a while). They had no HPs so I burned them, I'd probably AE them next time. When she is low (20%?), she starts getting a buff, that reduces damage done to her by 10%, these stack, I got her to about 8% when she had 10% and I couldn't do damage, then she did a massive knockback and lost them all, in which I finished her off.
Seems like I was missing something in the fight... but was super easy fight over all.

    Warmaster Deynka Packlasher(Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat:
By far the hardest heroic mob in the game thus far.
Fight him near the center (as he will be rooted for a while). He summons adds over the entire fight, you will need to burn them down (I guess you could AE them if you can survive them for ever.. I can't).
Later into the fight, he summons extra adds on top of these regular adds.
The fight itself is super simple, burn adds, burn the named. There is a LOT of damage output on this fight, and a lot of adds. You need very good healing and extremely high DPS. 300k DPS is the absolutely minimum.

    The Fortress of Drunder x2

    High Shinu-Zonn Magnetia/Cerulea (Forearms/Gloves/?) - http://eq2.zam.com
FYI: Magnetia - Uncurable charms; Cerulea - Teleports the tank
    AOE:
    Strat:
Two Groups: Split tank them away from each other.

Single Group: I had to take both of the with different tanks, i devide my grp in 2. Zerker and mystic and pally, troub, coercer and inq.

I took the left side with my zerker to the door where u come in from as far as possible from the other grp mates, put my zerker right ast the door and my mystic at max range from my zerker. She doesnt hit hard every once in a while she charmed the zerker for like 5s incurable and my zerker and the mob would hit on my mystics pet and after my mystic by the time they got to the mystic i was usually uncharmed and i was able to snap her back. Whenever she charms the tank she doesnt seem to deal too much dmg.

The right one i tanked her by the middle of where they spawn she teleports u where they spawn back and forth and put all my other toons in the middle at range of my mystic (not very close).

    Prime Tentu-Zonn Ferti/Clodae (Boots/?) - http://eq2.zam.com
FYI: Each named will cast a curse. The person with the curse must joust away from the group until it expires.
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

    Sparerib (Helms/Range) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI: Spawns adds.
    Everything memwipes.
Uncurable curses one person. On expiration, it spreads to the rest of the raid as a curable curse. (No idea how to prevent that)
    Fears tank.
    AOE:
Strat: High DPS fight. AOE block when you can to manage the curse. Can alternate DPS on adds/named or just burn the named if your DPS is high enough.

    Guardian of V'ull (Shoulders/) - http://eq2.zam.com
FYI: Spawns adds if it kills someone.
    Minor power drain.
    Physical damage.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank. Only difficult if it kills someone.

Arch Confessor Aytali (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com

The Ry'Gorr Herbalist (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    1. Curable Noxious needs to be cured asap or it will oneshot on expiration.
    2. Power drains the group.
    3. Crowd control immune.
    4. Blue and red potions on the table behind him. Red = 2% max damage on target, caster uses 25% power. Blue = 25% power to caster, caster is damaged by 25%.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank with cures.

The Life Leech (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    1. Can max cast range to avoid the elemental aoe.
    2. Crowd controllable
    3. Memwipes.
    AOE: Elemental 10% hp dot
    Strat: Tank and spank.

Foreman Smason (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    1. Charges up an attack (slow casting) and then unleashes on his frontal arc (roots himself). It is an uncurable elemental stun and knockback. There is lots of time to joust the tank out of the way.
    2. Crowd controllable
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and spank.

The Gem Collector (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI: Key Mob
    AOE:
    Strat: Tank and Spank.

Queen Drachnia (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    1. Summons adds (time based).
    2. Teleports players to the wall and cobwebs them. Red text displays "Quickly, attempt to scratch off the cobwebs!" Use /scratch to free yourself.
    AOE:
Strat: Tank and spank using /scratch as needed.

    The Palace of Sabaron

    The Palace of Sabaron

    General Dal'Zark (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: At 75%, 50% and 25% he'll say he's blocking a form of damage(Spells, CAs and melee was the sequence I got). With each text, an idol near him becomes attackable. Kill it to allow that form of damage to work again. After the final idol he then says "Get away from me" or something similar and proceeds to cast a chain knockback on the MT.

Warmaster Gangar (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank'n'spank largely. He summoned some adds at the ~30% and 20% marks, but I just ignored them.

    Sabaron
    (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Says something to the effect that you won't stop him and pops a Planar Fracture, with does damage and knockback. While they don't do much initially they stack up fairly quickly.

No idea if he can be pulled out of the pit, I just popped an AoE blocker and burned him down when the fractures started actually doing damage.

Place Holder (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
    Strat:

    Silent City: The Delving Dead

    Silent City: The Delving Dead

General notes: Same buff package and loots notes as Palace of Sabaron. After you kill a named, a nearby feather is "powered up", which you have to click to get a new spell. Subsequent named will get a buff after engaging them that requires you to use the matching colour spell from the feather. Blue is like the Drusella buff, the mob heals DPS done to it, red causes adds to spawn and I think yellow is a mana drain.

    Sohbank the Unnatural
    (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank'n'spank. He summons all the nearby mobs if you don't clear them first and he uses a pretty massive knockback at the start of the fight. Otherwise he didn't seem to do anything special

Ketahn Akh Sul (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank'n'spank, but you have to use the feather buff to stop him healing.

Sahkmeht the Destructor (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Tank'n'spank, but you have to use the feather buff to stop him spawning a *lot* of adds.

Amontor the Dreadful (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: Same as Sahkmeht for some reason.

Amenophas Livingspirit (Need loot confirmation) - http://eq2.zam.com
    FYI:
    AOE:
Strat: This fight is great fun. First, clear the entire area below, as you're going to be moving around a bit. Engaging Amenophas, the first 25% is fairly standard but he then flies up into the air, does a knockback, spawns 3 eggs and a bunch of ghosts near the catapults. The eggs need to be burned down or they pop a harpy. Once all 3 eggs are down and/or their spawned harpies, kill the ghosts near the catapults. One of the catapults will then become active, and you'll need to click it to get Amenophas to fly down again.

Now the fun starts: Amenophas has *all 3 buffs* at the same time. I prioritize trying to get rid of the red one first to avoid the adds and then work on the rest. DPS him again until you've knocked off 25% of his health at which point the fly up/eggs/catapult sequence starts again. Repeat until dead.

Xalgoti - Doesn't seem to have an aggro list. Just chain memwipes. I just stood and burned him in his spot. I'd classify as a tank and spank.

Tome of Ages Past - At 75, 50, 25 he spawns Named adds and goes immune. Kill the Named add. The Named add also spawns trash adds. You can burn them or AOE them down.

Spectral Librarian Emiida - Dispell her once, then just burn her. I AOE the adds. If you don't dispell her, I got hit for an AOE of over 80k on my tank :(

Sergeant Schriber - Kill the adds then kill the namer. If an add reaches him, it heals him a LOT.

Vethilot the Corpsemonger - Every time an add dies, he gets a buff. Kill the adds (can do it via AOE). When they die, you must right click and destroy them. You MUST be very very quickly. Ogrebot: Automatically takes care of the clicking of the adds.

Alvik the Cold - Use the stove to boil water, when he starts shouting, use the water. You have to be very quick on this. He does it at 75, 50, and 25%. He heats at an alarming rate.

The Armored Presence - When he spawns armor pieces, kill them.

Xalgoti - memwipes on damage spikes, but I think it's a bit overly sensitive compared to beta. Ended up just burning him down with healers in spam heal mode.

Sergeant Schriber - spawns 6 soldiers on the outer edge of the room that wonder towards him. If they reach him, he gets healed for ~10%. You can either mez them or collect them with another character(the don't hit for much).

The Armored Presence - Stoneskins every 25% and spawns armored pieces. If you don't kill them in ~30 seconds(I think), they convert into an add and heal the named for ~10%

Alvik the Cold - Kannkor's not kidding about being quick. If you don't cast the water within ~1 second of him announcing he'll usually heal to full again

Clear trash in first room. Then pull Aeri into water. Then just drag him around zone when he drops acid. Tank/spank with movement...easy, but LONG fight with my 5 man (14min).

Manifestation of Tserrina's Rage - Kill adds then kill namer. Adds respawn once (maybe more, but only once for me).

Doubt, Misery, and Depression - Tank and spank. I just AOE them down.

High Priest Mohnt and Drizzina the Lulled - Separate out your toons a bit. Others have said you can run Mohnt around to avoid the axe damage or something.. but with 2 priests in T3 (SF) gear, I had no issues.

Narmek Barreka - Seems like a tank and spank. May depend on what you choose. I did chest/weapons and it was nothing special. When he got to 10% or so, the rest of the pieces spawned. So don't alt tab like I did :(

Deception - Tank and spank. I kept seeing "something is healing deception". So I'm guessing there is more to this fight, but I just stood and killed him.

Ach'erin - I think he is immune until you kill his adds. Forgot to take notes :(

Vhal Sera - Super buggy. He keeps going stoneskin prior to 30%. You need to drag him into the lightnbolts.. It didn't seem to do anything 90% of the time. I spent a solid 10 minutes dealing with this shit. At 30% he ports you up top and to the center. Use radar and kill the disrupted (not the fragile). I did this twice, then proceeded to kill him. Others are reporting he is bugging out like mad and unkillable.

Cara Omica - Not sure how to spawn.

De'manti Sheda - Tank and spank.

The Imp Trickster - Tank and spank. He dies and splits into adds, when the adds die he goes back to himself. Just burn everything.

According to ACT, I killed them in the following order:

    1 Xalgoti
    2 Alvik the Cold
    3 The Armored Presence
    4 Romero(doesn't drop a chest)
5 Vethilot the Corpsemonger(he's optional and can be done as soon as you've done the potion quest)
    6 Sergeant Schriber
    7 Spectral Librarian Emiida

Tome of Ages Past - managed to miss this somehow, so not sure where it fits in

bjcasey2 - I updated my post above with more.

Haunt of Syl'Tor - This zone seems to have 2 versions.

Trouveur D'Kish - First namer: Tank and spank. He puts an uncurable on you, that if your power drops below 10% something bad happens. I didn't test to find out what.. :)

Trouveur D'Kish (Flipped) - Identical to above.

The Unmasked Changeling - Second namer (Not sure it has to be). Tank and spank. After killing him I was locked in his room.. I had to call to guild hall. I came back and got to the second area, and had to kill him again.. exact same fight the second time.

The Unmasked Changeling (Flipped) - Identical to above.

Necretia Widowmaker - Pulled adds out of the room, seems he is rooted. Adds were standard tank and spank.

Tserrina Syl/Tor - 8th floor.. Currently bugged, unkillable from what everyone says, and I couldn't do anything to her.

Forgotten Pools, in the order I killed them so far:

Aeri'ondi the Infectious - The acids have a fairly short range(15m?), so if you keep everyone at range, they won't get hit except for the tank. Depending on DPS and healer ability to cure, you may have to move the tank during the fight. Near the end I had 71 nox effects with ~20k DPS(his stoneskin effectively cuts all DPS to 25%)

Styrax Fluorescene and Anthocyanin - non-agro at first, clear all the mobs in the area to make them attackable. Kill Styrax first, but make sure to pay attention to the announce text for Anthocyanin. Move them both to the opposite coloured area to the hue that Anthocyanin takes on, otherwise he heals Styrax

Gerg Teae - Goes underground and memwipes every 20%. I just ignored them, YMMV.

c'n'p of myself in IRC, because I'm lazy:

02/24/11 08:12:52 < macker> you don't have to get him to run through the lightening. The lightening is just an indicator a spike trap is about to hit. Whomever is closests gets hit with the trap. So, you have to make sure he's closest
02/24/11 08:13:51 < macker> Found it easiest to just all bots af on the tank, no movement so I could move them as a unit
02/24/11 08:14:38 < macker> vanity pets will sometimes get hit with the trap though, so if you've got vanity pets up, get rid of them

I didn't get ported at 30%, but had to approach a fragile to get it to switch over. Also, be *fast*, as he heals pretty quick when one of the pillars converts.

Cara Omica - dunno if it was bugged or this how you're meant to do it: run up to her to activate her and then move away. Kill the 4 specs that spawn. She'll summon a single player while you're killing the specs occasionally, but the bots moved out fast enough that she didn't get any hits in.

Once they're dead, run up to her platform and it's a tank and spank. Had a focus damage(5k-16k) elemental AE with 50% casting speed reduction(curable) and a single target 17k/13k every 3 seconds uncurable arcane which seems to hit any group member.

FWIW, I did try to initially just tank and spank the entire encounter(Cara+specs) but my priests got hit with a interrupt every ~2 seconds curse and I wiped shortly afterwards.

    Maybe worth noting..

I cleared tofs (minus bugged end boss) and killed every namer on the list. I reset and went back in, MANY of the named require a quest completion/trigger to spawn it seems. This round through, I've seen less than 50% of the named.

So this leads me to 1 of 3 things..
    1) I'm doing something wrong
    2) It's bugged.
    3) Replayability on this zone is completely fucking useless.

    I'm going with #1 or #2...

Ach'erin - you need to kill the adds, he's immune otherwise. When the adds die, they spawn 5-6 ^ goos, which memwipe every 5-10 seconds. Everything is mez'able, so if you're low on healing or undergeared, you can mitigate the incoming DPS that way.

Since we are down at the moment, I will ask a few stupid questions.

    1. Do you have to complete Shadowed Corridor before you can get the option for Umbral Halls? Do you use the same mirror?

    2. How and the F do you kill Xalgoti??? I have been in my 5-man (monk or zerk, defiler, inq, swash, coercer) and have been unable to stabilize. Also, I have been in 4 or 5 PUGs, which looked promising, and we can't kill that SOB. Is anyone doing anything different besides spam heals and tank/spank?

    3. Has anyone started the quested armor quests? I heard the rewards are sweet.

    1) Don't think you have too, no.
    2) You cannot stabilize him. SOE claims it's spike DPS, but others have said they had people only debuffing and he was aggro whoring. I think most of us just burn him while he bounces aggro. Just keep group shit up and burn. If you're doing it in a real group, make sure people aren't being fucking stupid, and stand in a circle around him, that way when he bounces he doesn't move and you can maintain DPS.
    3) Haven't seen them.

Xalgoti can be rooted and snared, so if you're playing with a bunch of squishables, you can control who he hits/kite him if you want. Daze/stun effects also help to cut down massively on the amount of outgoing DPS.

When he gets buffs, they give him a percentage heal over time. It's a small amount, like 0.01%, but when you stack enough of them up, that heal is > your DPS.

Did he get any buffs? With Ogre he should not get any at all (unless you have people dying, in whichcase, don't let them die) :)

Minor correction to this. The traps are actually from the walls, and he does a knockback every now and then. I didn't notice it the first time as I didn't have my SK casting Death March and most were rooted by the pools.

So, you need to stay away from the walls. After you've been freed, you have ~5 seconds to move away before the wall will trap you again.

    Killed Lord Doljonoinioanaoinaosmaoidnaoid!

**EDIT** He has NO AE Autoattack (no frontal). -- He does apparently have a frontal. With his nerf to his HP regen, getting every possible DPS isn't required.

When he ports, he will do the acid on 1 of the 3 pads, get everyone off the acid pad. Then get everyone onto 1 pad (to maximize dps).

Rise and repeat. IMO, you need to maintain 50k DPS on him in order to win.
With 54.6k DPS, it took me 26.5 minutes to kill him. (I had 2 deaths in total, and that was at the very start of the fight).

In concept, he is a super easy fight, and any real group should have no issue with him (assuming your tank can take the hits). This becomes a challenge for bot groups, because you HAVE to jump from pad to pad, and there is no way to read the acid (doesn't appear on radar, as an example). For this, I wrote a custom script to handle it all. I need to refine it a bit, then I will add it to OgreBot.

Just a quick note on this part:
"As you approach one of the pillars it will be come killable and start to heal the named. Burn it down as quickly as possible. Switch back to the named and finish the fight."

It's actually best to stay in the center of the room and just keep fighting Vhal. I originally took that to mean go over, activate one of them, and kill it. Once I stopped doing that he went down much faster, since they won't heal him at all (or do anything to hurt you) until you actually go near one of them.

    Lord Doljon.. Round 2.

I think he got nerfed this morning OR he was bugged for me last night. I did him again, completely day and night from doing him last night. He still hits for the same, but his heal now is completely gimped. He didn't heal any where near as often, or for nearly as much.

Last night, exact same group, 26 minutes, today, 6 minutes. Didn't change anything (I gained a few aa, but nothing major).

Okay - just brought up my parses..
Last night: Lord Bob: His HPS was 46.5k (yes, that means he healed on average 46,500 hp per SECOND).
Today: Lord Bob: His HPS was 9k.

The concept of the fight is the exact same, but he dies MUCH faster cause he doesn't really heal.

I'm guessing the fight has been tweaked then, as before if you didn't kill at least one pillar he wouldn't take any damage.

    Two ways to do it.

    Alt tab-move your priests fast.
I have a custom script that handles it for me. I'll add it to Ogrebot when I get time.. but not on a double exp day, and it will be iffy if I do it on a hotzone day unless I clear all the zones. I'm still tweaking it a bit also.

Agna Icespear (First namer) - When she ports, where ever she stops, move to her or you die. I use OgreFollow and keep people tight to me so they follow and not fall.

Dockmaster Jit'coel (Second namer) - Tank and spank. Was a very long fight and he didn't do anything at all.

Abelbrow the Bookie (Third namer) - Fight them apart. Abelbrow doesn't melee so you can have a mage (or anyone) tank him. Make sure they die AT THE SAME TIME. I killed one and the other had 6%, and I couldn't burn them down, so they both healed to full.

Bount Crushingfist (Fourth namer) - Kill the adds.

Grand Restorer Lingwal - Place on the very outside (on those little things sticking out) of the circle. He curses people which drains your power over time. If your power goes under 5% with the curse on, kaaaaaaaaabooooooom. He curses a LOT. 2 priests cannot keep up with it. So it becomes a bit of a rotation. Cure the people with lowest mana. It's all about mana regen to prolong the fight, and DPS to shorten the fight. Overall very easy fight (compared to the nightmare last fight).

Lord Doljonoinioanaoinaosmaoidnaoid! (Minor update from my previous post...)

**EDIT** He has NO AE Autoattack (no frontal). -- He does apparently have a frontal. With his nerf to his HP regen, getting every possible DPS isn't required.

    The Ascent

I forgot to write thie zone down when I did it.. So for now I'll explain what I know, then we can match them up to the correct names after.. :)

Icefang the Cruel - First named - Spider near zone in. He doesn't seem to do anything, other than you are probably fighting him on ice. Just wedge people up against something.

Worth noting: When you come to a door with 2 epicx4 guards.. you don't kill them. You go around them :) (really the note is to watch for them.. because I just went charging in... and went splat).

Brokentusk - Second named - Came with some adds. He was stoneskin until the adds were dead. Tank and spank.

Witch Doctor - Third name - Every 25% he ports to the center with a laser beem in his hands and goes around the room. If it touches you, you die. You run around (clockwise) killing icewalls to get past. It seems completely random where he starts his beem after the first time. I had it spawn on top of me twice, in different parts of the room and I was instantly killed. This encounter seems to be alllll about luck.

The Riders (2 guys on horses...) - Does a knockback.. that's it.

Shardhammer Sergeant - Comes with lots of very weak adds, fun AE fight.

Goredth Maulhammer - End boss - you must use a clickie on him, or he will slaughter you in seconds. Other than that, was a tank and spank.

    Step 1: Download EQ2Maps
    Step 2: Update EQ2Maps
Step 3: Look on your map for the red arrows that denote a zone in.

    Iceshard Keep
Named in the order I did them.

Krindem Sigmundr - Knockback, tank and spank otherwise.

Sjurd Randskeggr - Tank and spank. His AE hurts a bit.

Halkon Tormax - Comes with 2 adds. Something "ports" you around a little bit. I got ported into a fucking foot stool.. however I guess this worked out.. since I never lost aggro and never got knocked around again.. They put out quite a bit of DPS until you get the adds killed... Just realized I'm on a quest that says "Find a way to distract his guards".. Don't think I was suppose to kill them.. :(

Grundr Kolfrodr - Drops embers on the ground. Move away from them as they blow up and hurt really bad.

Vilmen Riggandr - Buggggggged. His AE is suppose to tick every 3 seconds, it currently doesn't have a delay, so it hits you until you die instantly. (That, or no one can figure him out. One of the 2).

End boss - Vilmen adds.. so until he isn't bugged..

    Hey guys,

Is anyone seeing good drops from these instances? I haven't seen many great drops. In fact, it appears like the drops kinda suck...

    Thoughts?

Primary, secondary, ranged, waist, and some charms. The rest seems to be mostly garbage compared to the T3 gear I had from SF.

Basically, all of the slots that give tons of crit chance since you need it now. :)

No.. all the slots I listed give tons of crit chance. The rest do not. Some give some crit chance, other are pot/cb/resists.

In Umbral, I've engaged Narmek Barreka twice (chest/weapons), and I'm trying to get past a room with 2 active mirror choices. There is a mob that spawns with about 6 dopplegangers of my toon; after I kill any one of them, it is replaced by another add called "Toonname's Hand"; if those die, then it looks like a final large named (much bigger "hand") spawns. I can't seem to get past these mobs. Just trying to AOE them down results in me getting overwhelmed (the "toonname's hand" hit hard), and I've tried mezzing to work on one at a time, but that has not been successful either. Is there a trick to this in terms of order, abilities, or positioning?

Don't AE. Kill ONE mini "you", then kill the hand that spawns from it. Repeat until the final "you" spawns the Evil Hand. That's how I've done it after being owned by AEing.

What he said above.. once you start getting more and more gear, you can do the same except with full AE mode :)

I had a different experience than what was posted on the main strat page for Narmek Barreka. At 15%, he stoneskinned and the adds popped. I mezzed them, and then took them down one-by-one. I always checked, and he remained stoneskinned until I killed all the adds. Then I could burn him down. Not sure if I missed something to avoid the stoneskin, but that's how I had to do the fight.

    Some minor corrections/additions:

High Priest Mohnt and Drizzina the Lulled - Everything is mezz'able in the encounter, including the hammers. This can cut down on the incoming damage massively, if you've got a good enchanter. Note, the hammers depop, so need to be remezz'd on a regular basis.

Ach'erin - it's very very important you cure in the fight when the goos pop, otherwise Ach'erin will say something about his meal being marked and then port to whomever has the nox detrimental on them, and do ~500k damage.

In Ascent, the Brokentusk fight was different than how I read the strat. You actually burn down the named first, and then the 2 adds are killable.

It changes depending on something.. I think it's what you aggro first. If you aggro the named first, you kill him first, then the adds. If you aggro the adds first, you kill the adds first, then the named. I've had it both ways.
