EQ2Bot Tank&Assist mode doesn't fight unless auto-pull is on

Using the latest version of the EQ2bot script from source control, I have my char set up as Main Tank, Main Assist. I am at the keyboard, so I don't necessarily want auto pulling on. When auto- is on, no problems, it all works. When I turn off auto pull, the bot no longer runs it's combat sequence, even tho I manually pull and it knows it's in combat.
All the other toons don't have auto-pull on, and they engage the (manual pull) fight properly.
Is this the normal behavior expected? Will MA or MT setting sort this out? I still need this bot to be the MA and MT behavior.

I think I need those settings on since the char is not a real war class and would otherwise try to position at rear of mobs etc. (didn't try this but it does normally when not in MT/MA role).

Quick fix if you are running character without a pet is to set 'PULL WITH PET'.
Im running my berserker like so, that way I can manually pull and then the bot does the rest.

What I do when I want to select my tanks target and pull manually is to set the scan range down to 5 - 10. Check auto Pull to on. Your tank will auto engage when the mob enters your aggro/scan range and will still sense when the other toons have aggro etc etc.

I use this allot when I manually lead my bot group through a dungeon that requires allot of body pulls. It also works well outdoors if you want to manually pull for your group. Select the target and either body pull or use a bow. The bot will then take over and tank like a champ.
