Just FYI, for best results have a turnspeed around 200%. At 100% (the default) I was able to make myself run in circles around my other char. Bumping turnspeed up to 200% fixed this easily. I didn't try other values, but it might work on a lower %.
In Vanguard, open Settings window, Controls Tab, Turn-Speed Multiplier.
I added the VG_onHitObstacle events, which should allow faster obstacle detection.
I haven't had a chance to test this code in game, so it could have syntax errors.
EDIT: Bah, wrong thread!
EDIT2: After testing this in game, it seems like it wouldn't help all that much as it gets called at the weirdest times. Good idea, but would take a lot of work to do it correctly.
