Why couldnt they just wait til after the merge tommorow... bah!
Here's this week's timeline for your Eddie:
Tuesday - Force patch.
Tuesday night - ISXEQ2 gets updated.
5 minutes later - your server goes down.
24 hours later - a status update says they're behind schedule, something about the complexity and number of characters on Freeport, etc etc.
Server comes up - 2 hours later, Thursday forced patch.

So is isxeq2 still down? I thought it was fixed because when I went to log in it said it was made to work with the patch from today.

I ran the launchpad to update everquest2.exe to today's version and now right as I get logged into the game, as soon as my character appears in world the game crashes out and I get handed an isxeq2.dll crash log.

It's always been my experience that if you type extension isxeq2, let it update, then log in, you're going to get a crash that first time. What I do to avoid that crash is patch EQ2, load the extension before I'm in game, then close the client, reopen it, and then do extension again.

Well, this time I sat there and actually watched it completely finish patching isxeq2 before I tried logging the toon in and I didn't get the error. So that worked like a charm. Thanks.
