Been reading quite a bit, I have been out of eq2 for sometime and I am going to try and get back into it. I however dont like going LFG, therefore I am asking for some suggestions for a combo for a 2, 3 or maybe even 4 box set up. Have 3 new EQ2 install setups besides the 1 i am currently playing. The only char I want is a necro, call me crazy but loved them from eq1 and just cant hang up the bonechips. Wait they are not needed in eq2. And its the only char that I have played to date in eq2. So I have no idea, about what supporting cast I need. Healer (no idea which kind), DPS, Tank?

Anyways looking for suggestions, if you were starting new and looking to have fun and be able to travel and go most places what 4 chars what would you create and why.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'd pick one from each archetype. a mage, scout, figther, priest. There are so many combinations that complement each other. Pick a class from each archtype you would enjoy playing. Try to match healing with fighter style. ie cleric with mitigation tank, Druid with avoidance tank. The same applies to debuff spell lines that complement offensive spell lines.

So many Combo's so little time (and account space). Think personally it just depends on how you want to play. I only 2 box, nothing bigger. But my paly/assassin combo works well. Ranger/Defiler works really good as well.

at higher end ranger is better with warden... Wardens root and rangers blast the hell out of the mobs with arrows...

go for mostly necros. have 1 tank pet, a defiler, and the rest caster pets. defilers can also debuff for disease damage. stack the necro debuffs and the defiler debuff then an add3 to master caster pet/pets(2 would be best, would prolly need 1 tank pet to hold agro) plus life taps and have the defiler throw up group wards to protect everything. should be able to take down most herioc and named no problem. would be an army of undead cuase the defiler looks like a ghost and the necs turn into undead :)

that combo might be what your looking for :)

oh, not to mention you can chain stun and chain fear the mob with roots that way too
