Hello Everyone!

Some of you have been using the scripts I have made available for quite some time and I hope that you are enjoying them. I have been very busy since about July learning new scripting skills in order to build my own extension. My extension and new related scripts have been in a closed BETA environment, but as I have hinted at on these forums over the past couple of weeks it is time for me to open BETA up to anyone who is interested.

I have seen a few rumors going around on IRC that I had deleted all of my free scripts that were on the SVN and am switching to a paid method. This rumor is only partly correct. My new extension and new scripts will be accessed by having an active subscription to ISXBJ. BUT.... any scripts that are currently on the SVN will be staying there. I have no plans to ever remove those scripts, but they will become use as is. Any updates to those scripts will require an active subscription.

So what new scripts are available with my extension?

I have divided up my scripts into two categories:
1) Prestige Scripts
2) Other BJ Scripts

What are the differences between the two categories?

Prestige Scripts are what you are actually paying for when you purchase an ISXBJ subscription. Currently, there is only one "Inventory" with plans for at least one more (details to be released in the near future).

Other BJ Scripts are freebies that come included with a Prestige Script subscription. As of this post there are currently 4 new scripts (Movement, Food, AFK, PlayerScan) and 5 SVN scripts (Auction, Looter, Magic, Shuffle, XPBot). The SVN scripts will eventually be incorporated into the extension and all future updates will be done through the extension.

What does Inventory do?

A quote from my wiki:
BJ Inventory is aiming to be the end-all, be-all of inventory management scripts. Whether you are looking to put some master spells up on the broker, trade some crafting rares to another character, selling off those pesky merchant fodder to the vendor or managing your ammo supplies, BJ Inventory is something you'll want to use. I've been running 12 characters for over a year now and I found myself constantly dreading the inventory management days where it would consume a large chunk of my play time emptying out my inventory and making sure that my characters were stocked for the next day's adventures. BJ Inventory takes the hassle out of doing all of those things by automating most of the work. BJ Inventory allows all of the current EQ2 Innerspace sessions to communicate with one another by telling the master session what its needs are. This is especially useful when stocking up on ammo.
BETA is now OPEN and you can register by going to BJScripts.com. BETA will last for about a month and is FREE for everyone to try out. Please come check out the scripts, provide feedback/feature requests/bug reports and help me make this the best set of scripts out there.

More information about what Inventory, as well as, all Other BJ Scripts can be found on my wiki/forums.

Been using these scripts for a number of months now and I could not even begin to imagine going back to manually dealing with my crews inventories. I think as the saying goes that I would rather be poked in the eye with pointy stick.

How does one download the beta? I registered on the site but when I follow the link to the ISXBJ.zip file, I get the "not authorized to download" message. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious. Also, FYI, your mailbox here is full...

Follow up:

The link from the website itself works fine and takes you through a little decision tree to get the file. The link from the wiki doesn't work.

I have fixed the link on the wiki. Thanks for the heads up. Also, I have emptied my PM box.

For anyone else wondering how to sign up for beta, please follow the instructions on this page: http://www.bjscripts.com/bjscripts/website/Subscribe_1.html

ISXBJ Beta has been going very well with lots of good feature requests and a few bug reports submitted. Thanks to those people who have been helping me make this script the best that it can be. I am currently working on the finishing touches to the patch I will be putting out on Thursday, December 20, 2012 and have posted a poll on my forums to receive feedback of what people would like to see me work on next. You can find the poll located here: http://bjscripts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=35

Highlights of Thursday's patch:

New Harvestables Tab
**Broken down into two areas: Amenities and Depots
***Amenities:
****Description: In this section you will find the Guild Hall Hirelings, Pack Pony and Gathering Goblin options.
****Usage: You can create lists of toons to login and send out any of the above amenities. Once the list has been completed the script will return to the login screen where it will wait for the remainder of the 2 hour limit.
***Depots:
****Description: In this section you will find all of the depots, including the new ones that will be added shortly.
****Usage: You can select which depots to use and what items to put in them. When the script is ran, it will place all of the items in your inventory into the appropriate depot for future use.

The above is just ONE of the great additions coming in Thursday's patch. If you're interested in learning more about what ISXBJ has to offer or would like to join the FREE BETA currently running until January 2, 2013, please visit: http://www.bjscripts.com

Hello Everyone!

First, I would like to thank all of you for your feedback and suggestions over the past month. I've been working as hard as I can to implement as many user requested features as possible, as well as, doing my best to squash any bugs that people have been finding. To view the important information about your ISXBJ Beta Account you can skip directly to Section 3. Below are a couple of lists of what has happened over the past month.

Section 1

Some of the user requested features that have already been implemented are (Full patch notes are located here):

BJInventory-2012.12.05, Version 1.18
* General Setup Tab
* Added a Computer Name List option where you can set the computer names of all of your networked computers
* This replaces the need to edit ComputerNameList.inc
BJInventory-2012.12.11, Version 1.19
* Broker Tab
* Added options for the following items:
* Potions/Poisons, Food/Drink, Totem, Furniture, Tinkered Items, Attuneable Treasured Equipment
BJInventory-2012.12.19, Version 1.20
* [NEW] Harvestables Tab
* Home for the Amenities and Depot options
* Amenities Section
* Three options: Guild Hireling, Pack Pony, Gathering Goblin
* Description: This script will send out the above amenties and take the harvests they return with. The user is able to make a list of characters to perform these actions on and it will automatically log in the needed character to perform the action. When the list has been completed, the script will return to the login screen where it will wait for the remaining two hour duration. There is an option to place any harvestables into the guild harvest depot after receiving them.
* Notes: There are two options that did not make it into this patch: Moving between guild halls for the guild hirelings and the reporting of returned harvestable statistics. Both of these options will be implemented in a near future patch.
* Notes 2: Your Pack Pony must be named YourToonNamepony and your Gathering Goblin must be named YourToonNamegoblin for this script to function correctly.
* Notes 3: In order for the auto login portion to work, a login screen that has four text fields and does NOT save any information in those fields is required. I have included a login screen to use on the patcher.
* Depots Section
* Eight Options: Guild Harvest Depot, Ammo Depot, Collectible Depot, Food/Drink Depot, Fuel Depot, Lore & Legend Depot, Potion/Poison Depot, Adornment Depot
* Description: Will place the relevant item into the correct depot based on the selected options.
* General Setup Tab
* New button has been added called 'Login Info'
* Fixed a bug that would not end any running script when the 'X' button was pressed
* Allows the user to enter the following information to be used in the auto login of characters: Character Name, Account Name, Account Password, Server Name

Section 2
Like I said, it has been a busy month and what I'm sure is going to be a busy New Year. In the coming New Year my tentative tasks include:
• Broker Tab Re-Write
o Complete overhaul of the Broker Tab to update the code and make the inventory searching more reliable.
o During this time I will be implementing the ability to set the price of items on the broker, buy specific items on the broker, and easy creation of OgreCraft and EQ2Craft recipe queues to aid in the restocking of crafted items
• Trade and Vendor Tab Re-Write
o Similar overhaul to what I intend to do with the Broker Tab
• [NEW] Consumable Restocking Tab
o Set what items you want to keep in stock on your character and it will withdraw items from the new guild depots or purchase from the broker.
* IE. On my Inquisitor I would like to have: 100 of each cure potion, 100 Top Tier Food/Drink, Any special stat potions, etc.
• [NEW] Transmuting Tab
o Select which bag to transmute everything

Section 3

Below is what I am currently work on for ISXBJ Patch # 23:

BJInventory-2012.12.20, Version 1.23
• Harvestables Tab
• Connect debugging information for the debug tab
* Amenities
* [BUG]If the Gathering Goblin isn't ready it is looping the 5 minute wait period instead of waiting.
* Add a checkbox to enable a one-time run through of the list without camping to char select at the end
* Add a checkbox to enable the retry timer. By default it will just skip that character for that loop.
* Add account checking. If the next character in line is on the same account as the previous one, just do a /camp character instead of going to login screen.
* Move character to the depot before depositing.
* New Amenity Type - Deposit All
* Will change guild halls if needed to deposit all of the raws in it's inventory
* Call to Guild Hall Option
* Guild Hireling guild hall movement added

With everything listed above so far combined with the holiday season I feel that I will not have my last Beta patch (ISXBJ Patch # 23) ready in time before Beta ends on January 2, 2013. I have decided to extend Beta an additional two weeks in order to give myself time to finish Patch # 23 and for all of you to test it properly. When logging in to ISXBJ you will notice that your Beta Account Subscription Time will now expire on: January 16, 2013.

In summary, I'd like to thank all of you for your feedback and the Beta period is being extended two weeks. As always, feedback is welcome on my forums, through email or on IRC.

Sincerely,

bjcasey
