Latest EQ2 exe file?

Hi, I downloaded the latest isxeq2 file but couldn't find the related eq2.exe file on twonked? Am I blind or is there an error on the page where its not updated.

I think the link on twonk hasn't been updated properly for a while, you can still find the binary archives at http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/, look there for the (zipped) executable that matches the current isxeq2

I just got the file that my ingame isxeq2 suggested I get (May 23) but when I got it I received an error... Is there a way I update more than just the .exe? I also got the idb file but have zero clue as to what that does.

when you got it? not sure what you mean...loading the extension still gives an error? or the game itself? what error?

make sure that you've patched the game normally to the latest version by running EQ2.exe to the point where the "Play" option lights up (there might be files other than everquest2.exe from the update that you need) close that, and then replace the everquest2.exe with the one you got from twonk (it needs to be unzipped, of course) and you should be good to go. the .IDB file isn't anything you need.

Thanks, well I guess that fixed it... I appreciate the help I know that it is that FIRST time (back in my case) getting the right version that is the trickiest... after that it is cake. I appreciate your helkp tho!
