From the notes at the top of the script:

Code:
; 20100620 - modifications by macker0407
; Updated for Sentinel's Fate and refactored most of the combat routines
;
; - Added Shadow Step endline AA. Automatic 500+ dps improvement!
; - Added option to cancel stealth after combat, but it needs some tweaking
; - Added AutoAttack timing support. Only really works with 3s or higher delay weapons
; - Changed Conceal and FF chains to support Final Trick endline and actually made the Conceal/FF chain work properly
; - Minor name change of Shadows variables to Murderous(for Murderous Design hate transfer)
; - Removed weapon maintenance routines, because I never used it and it shouldn't be needed anymore
; - Removed poison maintenance routines, never seemed to work for me
; - Added lots of comments because I like the sound of my own keyboard
; - Changed Ranged mode to be purely bow attacks and ranged weapon auto-attack. Enable UseRangedPositionals with care
; - Not that Ranged mode is actually working. idk my bff jill?
; - Removed the god pet stuff. Considering the stat consolidation, you really shouldn't be using the Zek pet...
; - Removed Mastery and Focus from the Buff routine
; - Focus is now a combat routine buff
; - Added check options to ignore power and mob health for certain ability sequences. Mainly useful
; when fighting epics and 20% could still take a while to chip away
; - Also placed a sanity check to not waste FF chains on solo and heroic mobs with less than 3 arrows
; - Probably some other stuff I can't remember right now
Attached is the .iss file to go into Class Routines and the spell list XML, with updated 81-90 spells and SF AA abilities.

Right, with that done, some extra notes:

This script really is for T8 and above only, as it is built around doing Fatal Followup chains. For the uninitiated, Fatal Followup is a CA that gets a multiplier for every stealth based CA you cast in the last 10 seconds. As such, you want to try to chain as many stealth CA's as you can before using Fatal Followup.

It also benefits greatly if you've AA spec'd for Getaway(Assassin Tree), Repeated Stabbings(Assassin Tree), Perfectionist(Predator Tree) and Poise(Predator Tree). You should really be spec'd this way anyway as an Assassin, but the disclaimer is there in case you've gone Intoxication and expect miracles.

The script has support for the new SF endline, Final Trick, which is a souped up version of Concealment, and also the SF Assassin endline, Shadow Step.

With all of the above, on my legendary equipped 89 Assassin my DPS has gone from ~6k dps to ~10k dps ZW. Single target named fights can spike to 13k, if all abilities are ready, whereas the default bot barely broke 7k DPS on a good day.

Finally, if you'd read the notes you'd see that while a ranged mode was added, it doesn't quite work as expected. If you position the bot first and then disable in combat movement, it'll correctly use bow attacks and bow CA's however if you enable in combat movement the bot will merrily run into autoattack range and attempt to melee. If anyone has any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong, I'm all ears.

Looking forward to checking it out, and appreciate you working on this class. I've always been amazed at how low the bot's DPS is compared to manually playing, or compared to other scout classes that normally parse lower than an assassin but parse higher when botting.

So, any complaints/issues? I've been working on my wizard lately but I plan to revisit the Assassin script in the near future. The only major outstanding bugs so far are Concealment not being triggered properly occasionally(about 1 chain in every 20) and the obviously broken ranged mode.

If there's anything else I should know about, please say.

I tried the script, and I can see a difference in DPS. My assassin is only in some T9 legendary and T8 fabled gear, and has only 3-4 masters. His DPS improved about 20-25%. He is not yet outparsing my wizzy, but with better gear and masters I hope he will come closer. If you finish your wiz script and it increases DPS, please post it. I have a very well geared wiz with 250 aa, and I can run some good comparisons (before/after) that I would share.
