New PC with Vista needs help

so i have a new PC with Vista and i have installed the following
ISXEQ2
Lavish.Innerspace
Lavish.ISXDK.30c
TortoiseSVN-1.5.3.13783-win32-svn-1.5.2

and when i loaded Innerspace the first time it asked for my user and pw
then stopped.

So i restarted and its coming up with a small box for flash saying
InnerSpace.dat

Then going away. Am i missing something? maybe something is blocking it with Norton or the windows Firewall? or is vista like this?

never mind, i forgot i have to right click nearly everything i want to play.. if some1 knows how to fix that tell me lol

Yes. EQ2 is a DX9 game, so fully updating DX9 is required, just like that said. Go to www.microsoft.com/directx and click Direct X 10(yes, 10) under the About GFW tab. Then, in the middle of the page is Download the latest DirectX. Through there it will update DX9 to the very latest version.

Hey,

Right click on your innerspace executable and go to properties. Under compatibility select run as administrator and you won't have to right click anymore.

Also if you run into problems with isx not being able to edit the files I think you can assume ownership of the files(give yourself permission of full rights).
