New spell lists

ALL my toons are finally 90 so haven't worried about this till now. I have a swashy, dirge, coercer, mystic, templar and guard. I have updated the SVN's on each of my comps, however when I check the spell lists there are no spells listed higher than 80. Does anyone have these lists including the new AA spells? Or does someone have a detailed instruction on how I can add the spells myself. Warning I have no idea what I am doing so instructions will have to be easier than the ones that come with a new bike.

Thanks

Edit the spell list file. Copy the spells from 71-80 and paste them at the end of the 80 spells. Then change the 71 to 81 and 72 to 82 .. etc..

Then if your spells are really upgrades from the 71-80 change them to the next roman numeral. If the spell is not better then leave the original roman numeral pasted.

That make sense?

SF added no new spells, only new AA abilities.
To clarify, SF added no new spell names, only Spell number revisions.. III to IV (ie)

... Just to add to this, some of my SHK spells didnt go exactly +10 .. So you might want to look through them. What I mean is that I had at least 1 spell that was 74 and then 85 where as I would have thought it would be 75 and 85 ... So look through them also just to make sure.

Add the new AA ability as a level 10 ability, and apply a spell ID number that is not currently used by your class. Then, go edit your class routines, copy and paste a current spell/ability where/when you want that AA ability used, and change the spell ID to your AA abilities. It's not as simple as adding spells, but it should take five minutes tops.

My highest level toons are 79, so I will be facing this too. I figured the 80-90 spells would be updated on SVN by now. I know there is a switch going on with EQ2Bot to use numbers rather than names. I just always hate making local changes because then I have to exclude them from my SVN robocopy script.

If someone has them all, wouldn't it be better to post to SVN then have everyone make local changes?

I am a noob as well but the spell list is diffrent so changes to it won't happen when you use the svn unless the spell list itself gets posted to it. If I am wrong plz be nice.

I do as was suggested in the forums. I do an SVN update to a folder on my desktop then copy everything to the proper folder. Because of that, everything gets overwritten unless I specifically exclude files.

Well keep another folder with the same directory structure as the SVN and keep your custom scripts in that. Then update SVN, copy to your working directory then overwrite your working directory with your custom scripts.

Just my 2 cents...

Actually, it is pretty easy to add exclude files to robocopy, so I just do that now. I would think for something common like spell lists, it would be better from a help/support perspective to ensure that everyone has the right spell lists. Just my 2 cents.. :D
