Pharinich (in Heroic Throne of Fear)

Is there something I'm missing with getting past this guy? Maybe my DPS is just not good enough but that mana drain usually gets me, and then spreads to to the other members causing me to fail.

I did finally get him down to 20% today before I died, so I'm getting closer. Any idea how 'separate' the have to be? Or maybe I should just range them and put them on no move?

For a while i was thinking i was doing something wrong with raid options as i saw a pharinich option in ogre notes, but looking at that further it looks like there is a pharinich the forlorn for raid mode and thats probably all thats created for, sadly if I can't od heroics I'm not about to attempt a raid, although I am learning

Spread out your toons if you don't have the dps about 15 to 20 meters apart away from each other does the trick for keeping the powerdrain from spreading. I normally set them to a dynamic camp spot in the hallway before his room. I use a zigzag formation working from tank to scouts to healers to casters.

i wait for him to path to the other side of the room and then campspot my bots in a half moon and then joust out.

The tank goes and grabs him and then positions him so that i can get DPS and heals from everyone.
But yes about 15 - 20 meters appart seems to be the way to go.
