Problem staying logged in

Up until very recently (2 days ago), I have been able to run isx and any script I wanted. Now, when I run a program like VGCraft, everything runs fine for about 15 or so minutes, then it "logs out".

When I say that, it really isn't a full log out. The computer doesn't freeze up, but I can't abort or run the program again until I close the window and try again. The screen appears to display the same screen when you first start logging in, after you select the character ... the one showing the progress bar ... with the bar full. I also still see (granted it is frozen) the FPS and memory indicator in the upper left screen, as well as the status boxes (for when I am running VGCraft).

If I unload isx, and log the same character in, Vanguard will stay logged in for hours on end.

Thoughts?

[Edit]

BTW, I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit and have tried with UAC both on and off, and made sure that all my scripts are updated.

Still no joy. Any ideas?

1. Operating System type - Vista Ultimate 64-bit
2. Amount of RAM - 6GB DDR3
3. Processor type and stats - Intel i7 965 3.20GHz
4. Video card brand and stats (be very specific) ATI/Sapphire 4870x2
5. ISXVG version - 1.09 (Build 4988)
6. isxGamesPatcher version - Not sure

I downloaded the 32-bit version of Windbg, but when I run Vanguard, then start Windbg and select vgclient.exe, I get this error ... Unable to examine process id 4484, Win32 error 0n5

vista huh... you running everything as admin(right click run as admin)
Yup. It was working, now it's not.

I installed it on my old computer, which I formatted up with XP Pro, and it works flawlessly. So it seems to be pointing to something in a semi-recent update and Vista/Vista 64-bit.

Here is what it is working on now (been running VGCraft for 90 minutes now, without so much as a hitch):

1. Operating System type - Windows XP Pro
2. Amount of RAM - 8GB DDR2 (OS only recognizes 3.5GB since it is a 32-bit OS)
3. Processor type and stats - Intel Q6700 2.66GHz
4. Video card brand and stats (be very specific) 2 ATI 3870 in Crossfire Mode
5. ISXVG version - 1.09 (Build 4988)
6. isxGamesPatcher version - Not sure

Got no problems at all - and I got a similar system than you:
Vista 64,
Intel i7 965 3.20GHz, 6GB DDR3, NVidia GTX 295

Don't think, it's Vista. I am running Vista 32 on a different machine, also no problems.

Are you running with UAC on or off? I've tried it both ways but didn't seem to matter (I do have to turn it off to update via SVN).

Maybe I'll uninstall all the programs again and reinstall and try again for a 3rd time. It's just odd that it would work, then stop. Oh well, at least it's working on 1 of my PCs and with your input, still can work on Vista 64.

If I may offer my advice, if you DO elect to reinstall everything, I'd suggest installing to a folder OUTSIDE the normal program files folder. (e.g. C:\Games\) This will eliminate any lingering UAC issues. Virtual folders, and to some extent UAC, don't take effect outside the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders.
