I have two computer, XP and Vista. Performed a forced client update when directed. The XP system updated Innerspace and pulled the correct file and everything works fine.
On the Vista system, when loading through Innerspace, I notice that it loads (ext isxeq2), checks for updates *0331.* and tries to update to *0414?*.001. [sorry I'm recalling from memory at work and don't have access to the exact message], then unloads the isxeq2 extension. It then continually loops this process.
If I manually replace the Everquest2.exe file with the first one patch as described in other posts, then the error message I get says to pull down the patch for the 2nd one on 03312009.???
Things I have done to try and fix:
I have manually copied the working directory (extension AND Innerspace) on the XP system over to the Vista system, but this didn't work.
Unloaded and completely reloaded Innerspace and ISXEQ2. Same looping problem.
One other caveat. After noticing this problem, I also noticed Vista had updates available, to include .NET 3.5 etc. Note** The problem existed prior to me updating Vista.
If I have not provided enough information, please let me know I will get what you need ASAP.
Thanks in advance.
