Seems like I get this same kind of error every other week. Usually happens when I've done a "relay all /exit" and load up a different crew. Typically the error occurs on the other computer that is connected via remote uplink. Might be possible I'm not waiting long enough before reloading.....can't remember if in those instances, the game wouldn't load because player was still in game.

I use ISBoxer configured with the "autologin" script on 2 computers w/ 3 toons on each PC.

While it's annoying, shutting down Innerspace and reloading usually resolves it......on occasion when that doesn't work, I just reboot and problem solved.
