Returning to EQ2 after 2 yrs, have a few questions.

A lot has changed since I last played, so I wanted to get some input from the experts.

First is group makeup. I have the following to choose from:

Illy 71 Silver
Dirge 71 Silver
Trouby 90 300 AA Silver
Mystic 90 300 AA Gold
Zerker 90 300 AA Silver
Necro 89 189 AA Silver
Inq 90 300 AA or Fury 90 300 AA Silver
Lock 90 300 AA Silver
Coercer 90 300 AA Silver

I know that all will require some AA grinding, and the illy/dirge have to be leveled.

Second is the leveling itself. I can only convert one account to gold every two weeks, and I am wondering if I should hold off trying to level the 90s until all accounts are gold with expansions. I realize I can grind AA for them during this time.

Third is the leveling method itself. On the gold account, 6 hours questing only got me 50% of level 90. And I tend to avoid shared instances. Can I grind the level 90 non elite dungeons? ie Vastly Deep instances

Most of the AA allocations and profiles for Ogre I have pulled from here in the various posts, so I feel comfortable just using them till I get to the full group jump off into the new expac.

Thanks

Coercer 90 300 AA Silver - Betray
From what you have listed, I think this is probably your easiest option.
The Zerker is far from ideal for a mage group, but as its your only tank listed, I assume you don't have others. Coercer would need betraying.
As for levelling them, if they are on Silver, I'd get levelling them anyway, sure you might lose 50% xp, but its still 50% more than just them sitting there not doing anything.
If 90, grab a load of mastercrafted gear for them all (Or Handcrafted, I forget what level the T10 stuff was), and hit Skyshrine when its empty. It isn't often full, especially if you go weird hours. Failing that, go to Outer Kael and that'll be deserted. Just keep an eye out who is in zone when ever out in public.
I'd just get going if I were you, waiting for gold will take you a while, where as if you can get them all to 95, you can atleast start potentially doing things to earn plat to buy Krono.

Thanks Cheesy!

Since you recommend betraying the coercer, let me throw this out there.

I have a 71 Illy on another account (I keep finding ones I forgot, but up to 9 now), and someone has stated that chrono'ing down cost you 50% xp. would mentoring down to the 71 Illy and doing content for it also loose the 50%? If not, I think that might be the way to go, plus will not lose all the masters on the coercer from before it went F2P.

Also I want to be sure that I understand this, can silver accounts level to 95? I am assuming they have to have the latest expansion, or is this incorrect.

Chrono'ing loses you a % of the xp dependant on how far down you scale. Going from 95 to 90 loses you 5%, going from 95 to 75 loses you 21% for example. So the lower you Chrono, the less xp you get. If the account is also F2P, it'll be applied before that too.
Also when betraying now, your masters are saved, so if you go from Coercer to Illy, and eventually go back to Coercer, all your masters will still be there. So if you betray, you'd have to buy Illy masters, but atleast you'd be 90 and AA'd. Also if you've done epic repercussions on it already, you wouldn't have to do epic again.

As for levelling, if you have CoE xpac on the account, you can level to 95/300 aa no matter what. If you also have AoD, you can also get the extra 20 AA. F2P restrictions mean your AA slider will be locked though.

Illy 71 Silver
Dirge 71 Silver
Trouby 90 300 AA Silver
Mystic 90 300 AA Gold
Zerker 90 300 AA Silver
Templar 40 Silver
Inq 90 300 AA Silver
Lock 90 300 AA Silver
Coercer 90 300 AA Silver
SK
Defiler
Brigand
Okay I have an account with a baby SK on it and a 40 Templar on the necro account. If I add 2 more accounts (Defiler/Brig), I really would not have a problem leveling them so the end result would all be 90s. As for getting them all with expacs and gold level account. Just need for my tax money to hit, and can cover it all with at least 1yr subs. With those 12 in mind, what would you suggest for the makeup of the two groups?

Also should I betray the Zerker to a Guardian with the end group makeup in mind?

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Zerker, Dirge, Defiler, Templar, Coercer, Brig
SK, Troub, Illy, Mystic, Inq, Warlock

Think that covers you with all 12 listed. Probably don't need the templar to be a templar, an Inquis or warden would work just as well if not better.
