Spire of Rage Triad Fight 2nd Boss

So I have been playing in drunder and fine tuning my profile. There are a few things I do not get about the profiles, like when I click *maintain* for single target ward (mystic) and reactive (Inqy) - isn't that suppose to mean that every time it is up - it should cast? I am going to read more up on it to make sure I am not doing something wrong in setting it up. A few of my characters do not seem to be casting like I have it set up, but I am winning the fights so I will eventually get to that and fix it.

Now, the Triad in spire of Rage, I am totally not understanding camp spot. What I read makes no sense to me on how to set it up, or how to just have my coercer stand there and mez the boar dude. I will run into this problem with the first name in ToT also... So here are my questions about camp spot, I am hoping someone can make this a little more understandable for me, or have someone go step my step on how to set up a camp spot, kind of like Orwak did for me setting Ogre up and using it. (A dummy guide basically, like move A toon here, click this button, move BCDEF toon here, click this button, pls) I have tried playing around with the campspot and campspot default button and nothing happens :( - I would assume that the joust in and joust out buttons are set up the same way as camp spot? (Haven't had any jousting fights yet)

Coercer question with the Triad fight - How do I get it to only cast mez on the bore guy? My guess would be to create a new coercer profile, name it like Spire Of Rage - and take all the spells, except any power regen spells, out and put any and all mezzes in the priority tab, and just manually target that name and turn any auto follow and assist tabs/setting off?

I just recently got this fight completed, little rough around the edges but what I did was park my coercer and mystic about halfway between where Aktu stands and the center (where he'll teleport to). Maybe shade em a little furthur away from center cuz they can get knocked around and you don't want them to get knocked into melee range. You still want your coercer to be within cast distance of Aktu however. Someone made a script (forget who) called Mezmob.ISS that basically does the work for you but I can't seem to get it to show up in the list of commands. So I basically took my coercer standard profile and greyed out all damage spells in the NamedCA and CA tabs (don't forget your priority tab either, although I put nothing in there for her) and put in both my single and group mezzes. I also added a few stuns and stifles for good effect. You want to remove any assist you have also for the coercer and just target Aktu. After you get it the way you want it, save it as a different profile so you will have it next time.
To make a campspot for select toons, just hit campspot then in the options type in the name of the toons, or a generic label (casters, healers, etc). I just type in the name of the toons I want stationary.

Then I set up my monk, dirge, assassin & inquis on the other side of the center (away from Aktu) where I can easily kill the two orbs that will spawn there in quick succession. Important to note you want to have these toons following your tank CLOSELY and also turn off the 'move into melee range' option and also 'move behind mob'. Why? Because these 3 will be taunting your tank like crazy and you will be constantly shifting your target back to the orbs. First couple times through I wiped because my autofollowers assisting my monk kept breaking off from the orbs and trying to run up and attack the 3 mages. This will easily cause you to wipe. Ignore the casters and keep retargeting the orbs until all 3 sets are down. You will need good dps to burn through them quickly. Good ranged attacks are helpful here. Initiate fight by moving your tank into aggro range of one of the mages near a totem. Once aggroed you will want to switch to your enchanter and manually cast a mez to get them going. Like you thought, without an assist they will just sit there with whatever target they currently have and run through whatever NamedCA's/CA's they have set up.

Once you have downed 3 sets of orbs, the mages will be incapacitated on the ground and the fight gets a whole lot easier. Just pick a totem at any of the 3 locations, kill it, rinse and repeat until the named merges in the middle and its a piece of cake from there. Just a basic tank and spank from there. Make sure you click 'Let's Go' to get your enchanter & healer on other side back to the main fight, and also you may want to change your chanter on the fly back to the normal fight mode if you feel so inclined.

Anyway, that's how I was able to get through this fight, some others like Kevinshp were able to stand in one spot and take down the orbs with ranged attacks only but I'm not sure how he was able to get that 3rd orb on the other side that way.

Awesome, I didn't realize camp spot was that simple - just hit it and enter toon name and they stay... I really over thought that, thank you.

I am pretty sure I have the ranged dps for the orbs with a zerk, dirge and swash - their initial hits are pretty significant I am sure I will have quite a few face plants at first down.

Only if a fourth orb gets to the named do they rampage. So you can campspot everyone on a side where you can range down the first 6 orbs (3 from each pillar), and then run everyone to the other side and kill the next 3 orbs that spawn (the first one being that bad "fourth" orb that would get to Aktu and cause the rampage). This allows you to always have campspot on all your toons (except your tank), so that if anyone gets knocked back they will automatically come back in range. As long as you have them facing the middle, it also means they won't accidently get knocked closer to the mobs and die. I find it easier to do it this way then having a group running around with me on ogrefollow, although you can certainly do it that way and it would make the fight a little quicker. You do need to make sure your tank never gets taunted and targets one of the middle guys (especially not Aktu), and also make sure you don't have any pets who might go attack them.

Once you get it down, you will kill it first pull every time.

Mike, thank you... I have been scouring the forum for this iss file, I even specifically search the name given and couldn't find anything. I know this will help immensely. How do I get the custom command to work? I copied the script to: MCPCommadsCustom.xml and I placed the mezmob.iss (First I tried the Scripts folder, unloaded Ogre, reloaded ogre, then I restarted the MCP control panel, right clicked a button - there is no mezmeb in the drop down - after, I tried placing the mezmob.iss in the EQ2OgreBot) Am I missing something or totally doing this wrong to get custom commands to work?

NEVERMIND - got it to work!!!

Well, I finished SS last night for the first time. I am actually in SoR now and about to kill the trash and try the triad for the first time. it will be a while bfore I do ToT, i think, i am a little afraid to go to that zone lol.

Thanks again for all the help guys

And DONE!!! Killed second name in SoR - a combo of everyones strats worked for me - the coercer mezzed - i did get 1 bull, but he just followed my tank around and died from procs. I also used Poulettes Auto Target for the essences. WOOT!!! now to finish the zone =P then that makes 2 Drunder zones complete

Someone in the group has to have completed SOR before you can go into SS. But you could do that in a "real" group on a toon and then you're set. Aside from the last mob (which is just dependent on DPS), SS is a quicker zone and in many cases faster to box than SOR.

Yes you do have to do them in order for access - my dirge already had access
I always to SS first, it is way faster - but I wanted to finish SoR once with all the group, and now I will just go up to the rare in SoR
