Streaming client + ISXEQ2

Just wondering how this works, if I have to have the game fully downloaded to get functionality? I just started a download at work yesterday, attempted to install ISXEQ2 today and initially it was not finding a login server, but once it did I got the client version doesnt match.

Do I just have to wait a few days for the 12 gigs to download, or is there anyway around it.

Must say, I am glad to be back after taking a couple years off.. just so many new things on all fronts!

edit:Also.. maybe note worthy maybe not.. the login I see when I launch ISX via innerspace is not the same as the streaming client... is this normal because we are launching everquest2.exe?

Note X2:

Been messing around getting SVN working and innerspace configured... it seems I can load the game now, but i have to manually load "ext isxeq2" but when I do this it finds an update and starts to download it. From here I get a big blue box that says goto twonk and update my eq2.exe... then my game crashes.

So, is my eq2 really out of date, or since I am still downloading (I only have 2.8 gigs downloaded) will this continue to give me a message?

I have done some searching and grabbed the station launcher and am doing a complete download in the meanwhile and will make steps to get the full launcher as the streaming client is likely to be problematic.

ANy help or confirmation of my assumptions would be great, thanks all.

i dont have an actual answer, but maybe its a chicken and egg thing -- eq2 had a forced patch this morning and isxeq2 was updated a couple hours ago (also a couple hours after your post) so.. try again now and see what happens.
