Tier 1 Group Dps

I have been working hard to get my tier 1 dps respectable and I am still well short of what I think is even close enough.

I have completed the KA sig, offhand, KA tradeskill, KA purple runes and now lvl 6 ascension. Resolve is 290 and currently sitting around 12k pot with 3.5k cb. Yet I still can't knock over all Tier 1 zones easily.

After pounding away on a single target epic dummy for 10 mins here are the results for my group. With the Templar included total group output is ~1b dps.

Ranger 271m dps
Beastlord 256m dps
Coercer 145m dps
Dirge 144m dps
Zerker 95m dps

I have attached ACT summaries for each class above showing output damage on the ST heroic.

When doing a tier 1 KA heroic, group dps falls through the floor and the entire group dps is ~200m dps.

If anyone would be so kind to point out what I can do to improve dps I would be so happy as its just about got to a point where its time to quit.

if you're looking for general guidance, you need to cap crit bonus first. People scream potency, potency and more potency but until you cap crit bonus I'd place it as number 1 priority. Once CB is capped, its Fervor > Pot. I'd also wager given stats listed that your hit rates are not where they should be, but that can not be judged from a dummy parse. I'd comb through some of your KA parses and see what your hit rates are, if they're >97% you are missing out on quite a bit.

A really good collection of general advice is Here

Besides that, go right side prestige on all of your toons, even if it feels counter-intuitive. The CB makes that big of a difference. Update your AA specs and cast stacks. Throw all of your ascension nukes into the cast stack too - I noticed in your parses you're not using all of your ascension nukes.

Also buy the Deathtouch charm (Bottled Endless Courage) for all of your toons - at least until you start getting up there in potency (I took mine off around 16k+). They really speed up the trash clears, and help with some named fights too where you need to kill adds fast.

Thanks for the tips on whats important. I have combed a few KA parses and would like to confirm that I am looking at the correct stat in ACT. I am looking at the ToHit% correct? If so, here is what it looks like on some trash KA mobs.

Name ToHit% CritDam% CritTypes
Ranger 96.8 90% 6.0%L - 1.9%F - 0.1%M
Dirge 98.3 98% 6.7%L - 3.6%F - 0.4%M
Zerker 95.2 97% 6.5%L - 2.9%F - 0.5%M
Coercer 97.4 93% 6.9%L - 3.1%F - 0.4%M
Templer 95.1 97% 7.1%L - 3.1%F - 0.4%M
Beastlord 98.9 97% 6.1%L - 2.9%F - 0.3%M

Thanks for the reply. I have bumped up all my Ascension spells in the caststack to give more priority and will test over the coming days. What specifically do you mean by
Update your AA specs and cast stacks.
?

Just in general that they could use a spruce up every now and then. I've seen a lot of people who haven't updated their AAs or cast stacks for a few expansions. What worked before isn't necessarily the best set up now :) Especially with combat mit debuffs. There's a link within the link I posted earlier that lists all the classes/spells with combat mit debuffs - make sure you've got all of those as a high priority.

Infuse your gear also. Especially if you are not max on CB.

When you review your cast order, look for opportunities to chain the big stuff together. For example for chanters, if you are not casting Mimicry already when a BL, Ranger or Summoner casts their big stuff, try casting your PoM, SB, Rising Tide then Mimicry along with Cascading Force, Levinbolt, and w/e else is up. Those spikes will add big dps.

Get those Ascension abilities in your RO cast order, even better if you can charge it up on AE trash with some Ascension AE spells.
