UPDATE: November 19, 2013 [Manual Update Required]

Due to a major update with InnerSpace today, ISXIM will require a special update. The easiest (and best) way to do this is to re-install ISXIM. This is very easy to do and you can do so without having to 'uninstall' it first. Here are the steps:

1. Make sure that InnerSpace is properly installed on your computer. In other words, insure that you actually "installed" it on this particular computer and didn't just "copy" it over. You CAN copy InnerSpace from computer-to-computer; however, it breaks the ISXIM installer when you do that.
2. Download and install http://updates.isxgames.com/isxim/ISXIM.exe

If that method doesn't work for you, the MANUAL update is as follows:

1. Download http://updates.isxgames.com/isxim/Extensions/ISXIM.dll and place that file in your /innerspace/Extensions directory (overwriting the file that is there.)
2. Download the following 3 files and place them in your MAIN /innerspace directory:
--> http://updates.isxgames.com/isxeve/Extensions/msvcp120.dll
--> http://updates.isxgames.com/isxeve/Extensions/msvcr120.dll
--> http://updates.isxgames.com/isxeve/Extensions/vccorlib120.dll

Thank you for updating ISXIM. :)

Tried to load this for the first time (never installed prior to ISXDK33) and receive the following error message:

---------------------------
EverQuest2.exe - System Error
---------------------------
The program can't start because isxGames_libmsn.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I've tried both executables posted on the forums:

http://www.isxgames.com/isxim/ISXIM.exe
http://updates.isxgames.com/isxim/ISXIM.exe

Have also tried to manually update the .dll only and also get the above error message. I searched on the forums and didn't see anything related to this -- I'm sure there's something obvious that I've overlooked. Any suggestions on getting it up and running? Thanks!

I got the same error on two of my three PCs, however neither of the two that error'd are the master PC used to control my bots. It should be noted that the error described above was a Windows Error (mini window popup), and after clicking OK twice the in-game console reported:

X:/Program Files (x86)/InnerSpace/Extensions/isxim.dll could not be loaded into memory as a Win32 library
Extension 'isxim' could not be loaded

Perhaps it has to do with the "eable incoming connections on port ####" button on the Inner Space Configuration page? Afaik, this is the only setting that differs between PC1 and PC2/PC3. Well, I tried disabling that to check, still error'd out. teehee

PS I don't even remember if I "installed" InnerSpace or "copied" it over, how would we verify this. The ISXIM installer didn't work on 3 of 3 PCs, I had to manually update.

PSS Kannkor explained that updating the ISXIM on the "slave" PCs was not necessary anyhow, talking about OgreIRC I'm sure, no problem here then. >.<

I had gotten the error loading isxogre as well, but renaming the innerspace folder/reinstalling innerspace & isxeq2 & isxogre worked. You may have to do all of that to get isxim to work too.

I'm guessing it's more of an installer issue than anything else; maybe the .dll doesn't get put where it's supposed to go. Can someone with a working ISXIM attach just that .dll here in the forums? Maybe I can test if it's just that file that's missing. Thanks!

I just updated the installer and the actual ISXIM.dll file so that it should not require any additional dll files. So, just update manually once more (using the instructions in the original post of this thread) and it should load fine.
