There has been no EQ2 update for the patch put in on the 28th correct? Just making sure I'm not missing something, I was pretty sure I understood how to do everything. I just got this on the 26th(Patch Day) and then they put in another patch on the 28th. Just making sure I'm not missing something, I don't know the usual length of time it takes to put out updates.

you should be running everquest2 with a profile that does NOT run the launchpad. It should take you straight into the game without patching.
If you're running the patcher, you are wrong. make another profile in your inner space for eq2, and point it at everquest2.exe instead of eq2.exe, name it "no patch" or whatever. use that.
if you patched, read the instructions in the error message in your console when you try to load isxeq2, it'll tell you exactly what you need to do from there.

As it says in the docs you read through when signing up. The eq2 client will physicly tell you when to patch.
Do not patch until then. Some times they do a forced patch every few weeks... some times its 4 months between patches.
