Try to spread out your charecters. The AE knockback from the add have a very small range. I kill it with 5 toons, and they dont have any raid gear at all. I have the tank in the front, 1 healer behind the mob, 1 dps on each side, and my last healer with one of the dps toons on of of the sides...

Yes i'm rather sure the alias is set up correctly, as everything else with alias works just fine. The normal build in autofollow also works just fine, stuff like letsgo, holdup also works fine. but the second i enable ogrefollow will all the bots stop any movement, they will keep facing my main...
