Ability Export Script

[Amadeus]

This is the newest version of the 'SpellExport" script that has been around for quite some time. It is maintained by HotShot (with a few updates by CaPilot.) It was revised and utilized in the revamp of eq2bot associated with Live Update #52 and will be used for all class file updates (spell lists, ability lists, etc.) in the future.



For First-Time Install:

1. Download Tortoise SVN from the internet at http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads. Then, install it and reboot your computer. Reboot, and all of that jazz.
2. Download the attached ZIP file (on this thread) and extract the contents to your /innerspace/Scripts folder. (After extraction, you should have a folder at /innerspace/Scripts/EQ2AbilitiesExport with all of your files and directories within it.)
3. The new directory that was extracted (/innerspace/Scripts/EQ2AbilitiesExport) should have an "SVN" icon in it (if you have properly installed Tortoise SVN). Now, right click on that directory and choose "SVN Update" to update all of your files. You should update this directory at least once every couple weeks to stay up-to-date with your files. New Zip files will not be released in the future -- ALL updates will be done via SVN!
4. Now, once you're in-game and ISXEQ2 is loaded, simply type run EQ2AbilitiesExport in the console or /run EQ2AbilitiesExport in the chat window to start the script.

To Update A Previous Installation of EQ2AbilitiesExport:

1. Verify that Tortoise SVN is loaded on your computer. If not, read #1 above under "First time Install" for more information.
2. The directory /innerspace/Scripts/EQ2AbilitiesExport should have an "SVN" icon in it (if you have properly installed Tortoise SVN). Now, right click on that directory and choose "SVN Update" to update all of your files. You should update this directory at least once every couple weeks to stay up-to-date with your files. New Zip files will not be released in the future -- ALL updates will be done via SVN!
3. Now, once you're in-game and ISXEQ2 is loaded, simply type run EQ2AbilitiesExport in the console or /run EQ2AbilitiesExport in the chat window to start the script.

run AbilityExport [Args]       (Exports ALL abilities, including Tradeskills/Abilities/Spells/Combat Arts)
 
            Args:              HELP    (Displays these options)
                               NT        (No Tradeskill abilities)
                               TO        (Tradeskill abilities only)
                               NP        (No Passive Abilities)
                               ADD      (Adds to the existing file)
                               NEW     (Creates a new File)
