Any way to speed up /craft ? (lessening durability dependence)

Apologies if this has been answered already. I tried searching, but had no luck.

When crafting it seems to only fire durability buffs (1,2,3). While this is certainly the safe route it also means it takes a lot longer than it needs to.

Is there any way to change it from [1,2,3] to [1,4,5] or similar?

Many thanks.

Not exactly.

Currently, the default thresholds are set to run progress/durability mix from 90% to 110% durability, full progress if above 110%, and it will ONLY use full durability buffs if the durability is below 90%. This may seem like it's going slower to you, because you can't see the actual durability bar over 100%, but in all actuality, it's only slower by 1-2 craft ticks to put it above the 100% mark.

Craft does start off with a full progress set, which in some cases can bring the durability down under 90%, and requires a full durability set to achieve the 90-110% range of balanced sets.

These threshold numbers ARE adjustable, so if you want to change them to fit your style, that option is available to you. Be aware that if you start failing combines, and have adjusted these, you will receive NO sympathy from anyone here. These numbers have been tested through all level ranges, and have an approximate 99.9% success rate.

You can change your thresholds by going to the Options tab, Thresholds subtab. There is a tooltip for every setting there to explain what they do.

Thanks for such a detailed response.

What you described makes complete sense. After watching it again I think it largely just seemed slow due to a kind of watched-kettle situation. It seemed to manage a rush order with no problems.

It's a very clever bit of coding, great job.
