Anything isxeq2 related slowing down things

I have been using isxeq2 for a while but suddenly about a week ago maybe less I noticed that when I activate anything, even something as simple as radar, my fps drops to a third of what it once was, when I close radar, the fps goes back up to normal. When I load ogre bot, same issue. Was there a recent change made that i'm not aware of where this fps hit can be avoided? it makes it hard to multibox when frames are so low. And this is on a per instance basis. Meaning if I turn radar on bot 1, it only effects bot 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this happening everywhere? Can you try it in a very low population (entity-wise) zone/area?

Also, try something like "ISXEQ2:SetActorEventsRange[10]" and see if that helps just for kicks. Keep making the number smaller until it seems to get better. If it gets to 1, and there is no change, then it's something else entirely. (The default value for this method is 35.)

You might also try something like "ISXEQ2:SetActorEventsTimeInterval[1000]" and see if that helps (it's 500 by default.)

You might also try reducing the radius in the radar to see if that makes a difference.

I have no real clue with coding and such. Could you give a noob explanation of what these commands do?

Yes this was happening even if I am by myself in a zone. I'll try those things though and see if anything changes.

Ok I tried the first command for the actorsevent range, ( just have to type that in the console right? I didn't get a message after I hit enter). No change even when set to 1. I tried the 2nd command, no change. I tried reducing the radar zoom to 0, no change.

by myself in the guild hall it drops from 60 fps at default to 8-10 fps with radar on.

Is this a guild hall with a lot of stuff in it? By 'empty' zone I'm talking about an area that has very few things (including items) in the environment. Guild Halls are often terrible places to use anything because folks sometimes put a ton of crap in there.

The best test might be to start a new character and try it in an empty Inn room.

I honestly have no idea what it could be. No one else is reporting anything as far as I know. So, the only thing I know to do is try and find a situation where it doesn't happen and then compare and see what might be the cause of it.

Nah my gh has nothing in it. I tested this in several zones. It's abnormal. But it happens whenever I run any isxeq2 application: bot, radar, myprices, anything. And the only situation where it doesn't happen is when I have no isxeq2 application running. It's fine with the isxeq2 running by itself but the second the window comes up from radar(or anything) after hitting enter to make it pop up, the frames drop. The second I click the close button on the UI, the frames come back.

An idea, I seem to be having issues with refresh rates sometimes while watching movies, and I just got a bunch of new monitors. Is there a recommended refresh rate for isxeq2? It's a stretch but thought I'd try adjusting that.

You might try loading up EQ2 within innerspace (without ISXEQ2) and just open one of the lavishUI windows somehow. If it happens, then it's an innerspace issue and maybe Lax could help.

If you have EQ2Bot installed in the default location, you could do this with the command: ui -load "${LavishScript.HomeDirectory}/Scripts/EQ2Bot/UI/eq2bot.xml". (To unload that UI, just use -unload as the flag instead of -load.)

Ok I was able to launch eq2bot without isxeq2 executed using that command, and it did NOT impact my fps negatively. It stayed at where it was. SO that must mean it's isxeq2 that is causing the frame drop?

Alright I did a system restore to a few weeks ago and it's fixed now. I just have to be careful what I do because I still don't know what caused it.
