I have an assassin running this script grouped with my brigand. Brigand is the tank. Brigand opens up fight, assassin runs off in opposite direction momentarily before joining the fight. Assassin fires off a couple of CAs then his chat screen is spammed with 'you must be sneaking to use this ability'. Presumably he is trying to ambush when he is already in melee?

Hmm, I'll look into it, might be something with scout tank... but your sure you've got all latest version of bot, class files, botlib, etc?

I have the same problem, it spams you must be in stealth, and this attack cannot be used on this type of creature.

I updated eq2bot lib and files, prior to launching it as well.

Some of that spam is intentional. We have no way of knowing which master strike can be use on which mob, so if your strike timer is up it will try to use them all on the mob. Nothing to worry about here.

Also, using some of the suspended stealth runs, it will attempt to use as many stealth attacks as possible, and it wont always get things off fast enough. It doesn't preclude it from using non-stealth CA's while also spamming some of this.

I found the bug causing the excess spam, the next release will have a fix for it, as well as more dps. Providing someone can test for me, should be a new rev in a day or so.

Hello, just adding my personal clarification of this problem, hope it helps you sort it out, Pygar!

Scenario: 1 Berserker-bot, 1 Assassin-bot, 1 Troubador-bot plus 2 other bots with varying classes.

When the Berserker-bot initiates with melee instead of pulling with arrow, fight goes as intended. Assassin and Troubador flanks enemy, the rest attacks accordingly.
Mob dies.

But when Berserker pulls with arrows or spells, the Assassin runs immidiately to the exact location where the mob got hit with the pull arrow. It does this BEFORE Berserker has received any damage from the mob even if Assassins assist% is under 100% (in my case 96%, default) and the Berserkers health is 100% at the time of pull. So, mob and Assassin run past eachother, mob melees Berserker, Assasin runs FIRST to mob 'start-loc' and THEN returns to where mob now actually is, wich is beside the Berserker and the rest of the group.
The Troubador does not have this behavior, even though they have the same typ of flanking attacks.

Im not very good at explaining this, but I hope you understand. If not, please ask me to clarify!

And oh, im testing this with the latest of everything from the repository, updating it myself daily. (NOT the experimental one).

Couple things to try here:
1. Don't use the option to enable autoattack. Let the bot turn that on for you when it uses first CA.

2. The assist percentage is the MOB health. If the arrow he fires is enough to knock 4% off the mob, then your assassin will run off to try to kill the mob.

I am experimenting with some things to make this behavior a little better. Basically waiting for the mob to get to the camp before starting combat (providing the mob's target doesn't change from the MA).
