Auto Targeting Self

Ran into something interesting today that is only happening on my swashy: in battle when Ogre is up I can target the enemy for a split second the it switches target back to myself. I can tab away but it automatically switches back to me. I have reloaded, switched profiles but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Check your cast stack for an item being cast that isn't marked as Required Equipped or is set as a Combat Buff.

You have autotarget (on the AutoTarget tab) enabled with your own name in the list, is the most probable scenario.

Rather than start another thread is it appropriate to ask another question here? I am having issues with rezzing group members (real players) in group. Of course all the rez spells are in the cast stack pointed @group but when someone dies it does not cast? I did uncheck an option to "rez characters not on the list" and I also have raid and grind options unchecked in "settings" not sure if that has any impact at all? Thank you for all the help loving ogrebot etc.

Why did you uncheck that option? It's fine if the characters ARE in your eq2chars list.

Raid/Grind options shouldn't have any impact at all.
Worth mentioning, people will not move to res, so the corpse has to be within res range, and have line of sight, and in this case, have to be on the list.

Thank you for the reply makes sense. Regarding the "eq2chars list" is this something I have to manually do and where? I assumed that whoever happened to be in your @group the rez would work?

There is never a reason to post the same thing twice.... Just wait for someone to respond to the appropriate thread. We also don't want to cross contaminate threads. If someone (ha) uses the search feature, ideally you want them to find what they are looking for, not find a post about auto target, that is talking about a login issue.
