In general, every single tank should have at least 1 +position piece of gear, and 1 +threat (like a 4000 threat increase) gear. There are TONS of them in SF, so pull them out of your bank and use em.
Try this:My group conf. is: Guardian, Assassin, illy, wiz, templar and defiler. All toons with T2/T3 or PQ armor with 200 Crit, tank have 110 crit mit.
I'm pulling the named and adds to the center of the room but die in 2 seconds...
I have tried with mez with no luck.
Switching windows for me requires hitting CTRL-ALT-1,2, etc... I'm not that dexterous on the keyboard so I see little chance in being able to coordinate all those keystrokes (plus clicking mice) in the second or two alotted.I do the buttons differently than the strategy on the first page of that thread because they don't have to be at the exact same time, just within a second or two. I put a healer at the first button, the bard at the second, and the enchanter at the third, and spin the cameras so that the point I want to click is right in the middle of the screen. The when he ports up top, I use the hotkey to switch to the healer, click, hotkey to the bard, click, hotkey to the enchanter, click, then back to playing the tank normally. It's easy for me that way because I only have one computer, so all the windows overlap and I never have to move the mouse if I have everyone positioned right.
I had already read through that thread before he posted that link actually. And I read through it again for good measure. But the problem I was having was in clicking all the buttons (nearly) at the same time. I couldn't get my hands to function properly. I'd panic trying to alt-tab my way to the right screen and mess it up. Or I would have trouble getting the mouse in the right spot. So I came here to see if others might offer a workaround solution if the clicking part wasn't going to be an option for me.Did you even look at the link he posted for you?
