I cant get it to work having 2 copies of VG open on a computer and trying to get kbot running on both copies. It works on one but not the other. The other just says: extension isxvg loaded or when u type run kbot it says... kbot is already open.

Seems as if it can only have 1 active copy open per computer?

I did the relocate svn.isxgames.com etc but that only made it available on one active game copy. And per patch / host change it worked just fine on all my computers.

Same goes with vga... I can currently only have it open in the game copy where I first typed in run vga... all other game copies say that it is already running...

And yes I did try to isntall a fresh copy of lavish and isxvg and even the kbot and vga but dident help.

Can you please take a look? Thx

The second instance says that the kbot or vga script is already running? That's some weird stuff...and I don't think it has anything to do with ISXVG -- it's innerspace that handles the running of scripts. I'm fairly sure that others would have said something if this were happening.

Make sure that you're using the development build of InnerSpace.

Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you. You should email lax at lavishsoft.com and let him know that you have multiple instances of Vanguard open in innerspace and that you're only able to run scripts in one instance (the other instance reporting that the script is already running.)

Having the EXACT wording of the error message and the EXACT text you're typing into the console would be helpful. Also, the exact method you're using to launch vanguard in multiple windows, etc.

Seems to be more of an issue that my isxvg cant connect to the server... any chance I can give you access to my virtual machine via teamviewer? I get no error msgs so i cant say what it is...

perhaps you could check it out real quick.

I have 6 different virtual machines and it happens on all of them...

When I start the game and get down the command window I enter: ext isxvg

what happens is it says: isxvg already loaded.

And thats from a brand new installed version. So I honestly dont know what to tell you more as I get no error message at all.

I sent you my teamviewer login data through the contact us form if you have time to take a look i would be very thankfull.

To reproduce:

1. Install a fresh copy of lavish and isxvg from your site.
2. Open up 2 instances of VG at the same time on the same computer
3. type: ext isxvg and then run kbot or run vga in the console of the first game instance = it will load up just fine
4. type: ext isxvg result = isxvg is already loaded
5. type: run kbot = already running, even though it is not

6. close all instances

7. start 1 instance again = it is bugged now as well. Meaning you cant open kbot or vga even if you have only 1 instance open.

I havent had this bug before the last isxvg update and lavish hasnt been update for a few while. So Im pretty sure its not lavish causing the issue.

Hope you can try to reproduce this.

OK, I fixed this bug just a few minutes ago.

It may require that you manually update ISXVG this time around. There are two ways to do this: 1) Download http://updates.isxgames.com/isxvg/ISXVG.exe and reinstall (you can do this right over your current installation and it will only overwrite ISXVG.dll.) 2) Replace your /innerspace/Extensions/ISXVG.dll with the one at http://updates.isxgames.com/isxvg/Extensions/ISXVG.dll (replacing the one that's there.)

In either case, you'll want to completely shutdown Vanguard before doing it.
