cant load eq2bot

Buffer:OgreBot(129): Could not locate file C:/Program Files (x86)/InnerSpace/Scripts/EQ2OgreCommon/DoNotShareWithOthers/EQ2Chars.inc for preprocessing
Preprocessing failed on Buffer:OgreBot

When I went into the directory it shows that in my innerspace folder the folder scripts has a red ! on it. Then into my scripts folder Eq2 craft/eq2ogrecommon/eq2ogreharvest all have red ! marks on those folders and eq2ogrecraft and eq2ogrebot/eq2ogrecraft and few other folders have a blue ? on them....threes just a lot of red ! and blue ? on a lot of folders no idea what they mean or if they have anything to do with svn checkout/update

Once you or a script has modified any files in those folder it will change the icon to tell you that it isn't the same as the version on the SVN (which is a good thing cause all those folders have custom saved data for YOUR characters).

As for not finding EQ2Chars.inc have you manually edited that file? Because by default it isn't called that.

Is this a new installation of OgreBot?

Do a full SVN update then.

After, open one client and type the following into the game console: ISXOgre:Repatch[1]

That will make sure all of your files are up-to-date

i followed the instructions renamed the file but still same result

I even tried that repatch command and it didnt work

I typed it in like this isxogre:repatch[1]

The renaming didn't happen correctly. It's possible you renamed it Eq2chars.inc.txt or something.

Try the following.

Open bak.EQ2Chars.inc in notepad.
File-Save As
"EQ2Chars.Inc"
Including the quotes.

I can assure you, based on that error message, the file is named incorrectly.

Ok so dont have a bak.EQ2chars.inc I went itno the innerspace/scripts/eq2ogrecommon/donotsharewithothers

then i edited EQ2.chars.inc and save as "eq2chars.inc" and it said this file already exists do i overwrited and it shows still as EQ2chars.inc and i tried it anyhow in the console and i get this now

2. Log into the game.
3. Open up the in-game blue background console.
4. Type ext isxeq2.
5. Wait until it's done.
6. Type ext isxogre.
7. Wait until it's done.
8. Type ogre.
9. Wait until it's done.

If for whatever reason something doesn't work, read the blue background console for error messages and you can copy and paste them here for further assistance.

thank you for all your help is there profiles i could upload or something for each class or would i have to go through everything and set them up myself

There are defaults, but I would greatly suggest setting up your own profile to match your game play. The defaults are for example purpose only.
