So I'm kind of curious how the optional button works in terms of timing. Is there any consideration of recast if optional is clicked?
For example:
Wizard FB chain > FB > Fusion > E'ci > Fusion (if reset) > blah blah > Rays of Disintegration.
ok, so supposing I have a basic chain like that, I set the fusions and rays to optional because they can both be reset by other spells.
I don't care so much about fusion because it's recast is so close to FB anyway, but with rays, it resets so often that it's a waste to not have it cast all the time.
The problem comes along that even though I have the chain in the named tab, and the spell itself in the CA tab, rays never goes off even though it's set to optional. I have fusion set to optional for the same reason, but I can't tell if it does the same thing because of the recast of FB.
anyway, TL;DR
chain with optional rays of disintegration, am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
