Changed Eq2 Directory, Isxeq2 Now Not Loading

I had been running the game through Steam and didn't like some aspects of it so installed separately, moved config files over to new install directory and updated Innerspace to point to the new location. Innerspace runs fine but ISXEQ2 comes up with the patch error that it is not in synch with the game. I had been just running the game earlier today in Steam and it worked fine. Any idea what I missed?
