Coercer Pet

Do you guys get pets - either charmed or possessed essence? I've been ignoring the pet for a while, but with DPS being something that's stopping me from progressing easier, I don't think I want to give away these points.

I tried to manually possess some mobs in CDHM, but their aggro was longer than the range on my PE. Is there something we can do in combat? I wish there were something (I knew about) in MCP that could handle this task - so I didn't have to pause the coercer bot each time their pet dies. If it already exists, can you point me in the right direction? If it doesn't, is there something we can do?

My Coercer doesn't seem to be putting out the DPS she should. barely hits 100k.

Coercer pets, and to a lesser extent Illy pets, are almost worthless now if you are talking about raid content. They will die on almost every AoE. With the Illy at the least you don't have to waste cast time during combat to get them back up, just do it after the fight, coercers it's just not worth the time to cast.
