Craft 6.3

I recommend you get the new craft files off the SVN repository. The package in Blazer's release thread has the old ReactionArts.xml that misses many of the rare events.

I've updated the repository with the needed changes with 6.3.

Thanks for the update Blazer!

I'm no expert on SVN, in fact I suck utterly and have never had much luck figuring out any versioning software, (it looks simple enough, and I think I understand the theory...in practice I just never seem to be able to set things up right) but shouldn't you be using a branch or a fork or a prong or a giant red dildo or something rather than this experimental directory stuff? Just seems confusing to me <shrug>

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I dont know if anyone one else is having any problems still after installing this, but I am.

I downloaded and excracted the bot63 into my innerspace folder. I then downloaded the B version for the current isx version. I then ran the SVN checkout to make sure my files were current and copied the folders into my innerspace directory.

I launched everquest and initiated isx, the box popped up warnign of a new version, so I went and installed that.

However when I launch it still says im running the A version, and im still running into the doors..

Has anyone experienced anything like this, or could maybe guide me in the right direction on what I might be doing wrong. I'd appreciate any help you could give. Thanks.

I replied on irc, but in case you didn't get it or for others having this problem: it could be that the installer wasn't able to write isxeq2.dll because another process had the file locked. Make sure that the installer runs to completion and check the date on the .DLL file. (I've noticed I often get everquest2.exe processes that don't die off on their own when I quit the game lately, and this can keep the file locked)

If the file's still locked, a reboot will free it up. Not having the new DLL is the only reason I could think of for getting the message that your version's outdated.

After upgrade to 6.3 and isxeq2 'B' version I get some odd behavior on the craftbot. If I try to add more than 1 recepie at a time, it hangs on 'Processing recepie...' and starts to close my open windows one by one with a second delay. Like bag6, paus, bag5, paus, bag 4 etc etc.... like its pressing ESC or something that makes windows close.

I havent seen any post regarding this so im assuming this affects me alone.
Weird thing it does this on both my computers. ....

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The same methods that have already been suggested.

1. Delete innerspace directory
2. Re-install innerspace
3. Re-install latest isxeq2
4. Download the latest version of interface and script dirs from SVN.

Downloading from the craft thread is redundant, as updating from the SVN has all the latest files.

There are still some existing bugs with craft, however issues like you are describing have been fixed for some time. Using the above method will remove any mis-configured settings and give you a clean slate. In most cases, this fixes strange behavior that isn't being observed by more than one user.

Regarding the experimental directory:
A separate tree for these files would have been my proffered method, however I don't have access to create tree's so adding the dir was my best sollution. I also could have just kept versioning over the existing tree, but that would require everyone understanding to extract from update 42 vs current to get the stable release, and I had very low confidence in that going well with a user base new to SVN.

For now, if you want to test the code I'm currently testing and experimenting with, feel free to copy things from the experimental dir to your live directories. Just understand its just what it says it is, and not fully tested. The current versions I'm testing with has functionality to allow eq2harvest and eq2bot to run at the same time, pausing harvest when agro is detected and allowing eq2bot to resolve the aggro issue (kill mobs). Again, barely tested and may not work for you, so be ready to revert to the stable release.

while crafting from inside my house I noticed that craft "thinks" it can use the materials in my house vault, when in fact they need to be moved to regular inventory to be used in a recipe. not a huge deal, but thought it would be simple to fix.

hope that makes sense.
