Craft Bot Writ Issue..

It was working fine, until I hit level 40..
Now, it does the writ but the pathing is completely screwed up. When it goes to the writ giver it runs through the desk and runs into the wall, then it turns, does everything else fine.. until it gets to the forge, then it runs into the wall, sometimes getting so far away it cancels the crafting entirely, sometimes it just keeps running into the wall while crafting.
I've tried crafting in different tradeskill zones..

I have completely deleted and reinstalled everything, twice.
When the script says "StopRunning" she doesn't, which is what seems to be the problem.. Any ideas?

Also, when you are running the eq2bot and you have "Close this UI on startup" checked, your single target buffs will not work, on any class. Maybe we are missing something, but three of us are having the same issue with it, not sure if its a bug or not.

I'm a level 52 weaponsmith and I have this problem as well. It just started recently, like within the last week or so.

The Willow Wood crafting instance causes a LOT of issues for me (i can't even pick up writs there), and the same thing Kendra is describing happens to me in all of the other Qeynos TS instances. I didn't try it in any of the Freeport ones.

A friend of mine who also uses the crafting bot extensively mentioned that he was having the same issue as well.

May be unrelated however past few weeks with eq2bot I have noticed after some time I would run off into the sunset sometimes to my death?

Could be related.

I will look into the craft thing when I get my computer back in a couple of weeks. What is your FPS right now? And, latency/pings?

I've also noticed when at the alchemy desk in Freeport, it picks an alchemy table and after its done with the writ there is a 50% chance that the character will run straight and then try to turn left into the wall attempting to get to the door. It will try the unstick maneuver of going back taking a few steps left and then going forward but it still hasn't cleared the wall and goes back to the same corner it was stuck at. Sometimes it manages to climb over the wall somehow but its a rare occurance.

edit: I'm in Freeport, FPS is 71 in the crafting zone with no speed buffs on.

I can second the wall, 50% sounds about right. I watch my alchemist like a hawk when I writ with him. In Freeport. Easiest way to move him without shutting down the script is to hit Q and S at the same time to pull him back and strafe left.

FPS right now is 65, ping is at 88.

I don't mean to be rude here.. I don't know why you can't get to a computer or whatever.. I am a new subscriber. The program is awesome and it worked fine up until the past week.

I had previously canceled my subscription to this, and was thinking of renewing.. Being told that something will be checked into in a "couple of weeks" for something that I paid money for doesn't sit well with me. The only reason I paid for this was to craft, and its not working, so right now I paid.. for nothing.

Maybe this is a first time thing and has never happened before? Is it bad luck that I just became a subscriber and this happened to you?

I know you can only do so much if there is a problem with your computer and you can't get online, but are you the only person capable of fixing issues that arise?

Just trying to get a feel for what kind of company I am giving money to.

Thanks! =)

Well, mine is working today, except the writ count, but I fixed that on my own. So I dunno what you did, if anything. /shrug.

Thanks

A few weeks is actually good as Ama is moving and currently the moving company has his desktop and he really doesn't have access to it at all.

He updates usually at least 5x faster than most bot programs out there (your usually up the same night as a big GU) where others I had used generally took 5-7 days to update.

If you read the other forums you would of been informed of his current situation, which I was surprised and delighted he was able to patch us from a forced patch the other day while his main desktop is being moved.

Patience is key to anything.

I clearly said I was new and didn't know his situation, nor care. So "If you read the other forums you would have been informed" didn't apply to me.

He could be 100x faster than everyone else, but if you pay for three months and 2-3 weeks of that time frame it doesn't work, that's a problem.

Patience has nothing to do with it.

As I said, I fixed it myself. I like the program just fine, and I may renew, but I hope that he doesn't have the same attitude about the situation that you do.
It's not "good" nor is it okay to pay for something that doesn't work.

Thanks for your input though.

:dazed: So are you new or a returning customer?

If you are new, reading the FAQ is helpful and answers your questions. A little research saves alot of time and headache :D

Also if you are savvy enough, log on to the IRC channel. If I cant find my answer in the forums alot of the times there are very helpful people on there who may have had the same problem or can fill you in on something you missed.

III. Support

ISXEQ2 does not come with any type of customer support. However, in addition to these forums, you can find other users willing to help with questions you might have by visiting our IRC channel:
Server: irc.lavishsoft.com
Channel: #isxeq2

Hope that helps you in your ventures through isxgamesland. This concludes our ride. Please exit to your right! :p

In all honesty, section III. Support isnt a real reply, he isnt asking for support, he is asking for the thing to work properly. Which it seems it has been screwy the past month or so. =\. HAsnt worked too terribly well for me ever since Amadeus reduced it down to 5 actually, don't know why.

hop on irc and comment on your specific problems and maybe the gang hanging out will have some suggestions.

i'm running craft on and off on 4 different computers, a few different flavors of windows, and having no issues beyond the occasional pathing glitch depending on tradeskill & good/evil side.

alternatively, sit on the forum and comment on how you don't care about anything but getting your 3 or 4 bucks worth of support. ymmv.

As someone else just stated, I don't need support, I want what I paid for to work. Its not an issue on my end that is making it not work.

And I have been in that IRC channel, many times, I will leave that one alone.

Also, I am a new subscriber as I stated, and I canceled my account. When you cancel it, it doesn't automatically shut down on you, you still can use it until the subscription runs out.

All of this annoying "I am going to prove you wrong" back and forth posting is for nothing though, as I have once again, previously stated, It worked itself out after running around not working for two days.
