Craft - power buffs

Hello.

I have been using craft on my crafters for some time now, and it does pretty well. I love that it is able to anticipate an upcoming reaction that needs to be done.

However, it's a lot slower than I think it should be. Specifically, it never spams the power-consuming progress buff, and only spams the power-consuming quality buff when the durability goes too low, or it needs to counter a reaction.

I want it to spam the power-consuming progress buff whenever it's up and there isn't a reaction to do, much like the other two buffs work.

Am I missing a setting in craft, or is this a bug?

Thanks!

I think it's a bug.

I personally don't use craft much cause of how slow it is compared to doing it by hand.

I would want it to always use all 3 progress buffs, and only use a quality buff is the target completion tier is under 18%.

it's not a bug, and if I'm not mistaken, you can adjust this yourself with the durability thresholds on the options tab. They aren't very descriptive, and not very intuitive, and even I'm not exactly sure what they do anymore. I'll try to figure it all out and make it understandable at some point.

Ok, so I agree with you, it's not a bug. But it should be.

It looks like craft lets you set thresholds for durability.. simple, you set it durability 1 to 50%, it uses the power-costing durability buff anytime the durability bar is less than half on the first "tier".

The problem is, if it's above the durability threshold, and it's not countering a power-costing reaction, it doesn't cast the power-costing progress buff. Neither the power-consuming durability nor the progress buffs get cast.

I would prefer to at least have the configurable option to have it spam the power-consuming progress buff when it wasn't using the power-consuming durability buff, or countering the power-consuming buff reaction.

Does that make sense? :) would love to see it fixed, as I think it will make craft SIGNIFICANTLY faster.

It will also consume more power. I'll look into it, but at some point, power needs to be conserved for actually countering reactions.

Val,
There was a GU a while back that made power no longer an issue, I can hand craft and spam everything I have and not even come close to running out anymore. The days of crafting with a power totem to keep your power up are long gone (thank god).

the concern that it will consume more power, and they did recently make them take less power, but that's why I'm talking about it being a configurable option, then. If your crafter is a power regen class, you have no worries about power.
