I recently installed Craftbot for EQ2 and am having some problems. Basically it wont work for me. But I believe the problem is that for some reason I do not have a compatible version of EQ2. As this is the error that I keep receiving. Now I admit that I am NOT computer savvy at all. So, is this something that I need to wait a while and maybe patch something from ISX or am I missing the point all together (not uncommon for me when it comes to computers) and im just missing a file or some sillyness.

--------------------
My Error message- [A][C] seperated for questions below.

[A] Your version of EverQuest 2.exe does not match this build of ISXEQ2.
This particular build of ISXEQ2 was designed to work with the first EverQuest2.exe that was patched on March 13,2008.

If you have installed ISXEQ2 for the first time, then you should download
this version of EverQuest2.exe from http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/ and place it in your EverQuest2 directory.

[C] If this is patch day, and the client is 'forcing' you to update, then you will need to be patient and wait for a new version of ISXEQ2 to be released.
--------------------------

[A] This could be my problem, has ISXEQ2 not yet been updated since March 13th?
or
I did this, when I logged into EQ2, I then immediately crashed, everytime.
or
[C] nope not patch day, but there is a fairly large patch coming up soon.

1) close EQ2.
2) go to http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated
3) look for the version of EverQuest2.exe.zip that matches the isxeq2 version
(hint: the file version number is a DATE in yyyymmddhhmm format, and isxeq2 version is YYYYMMDD)
4) download 200803130706-EverQuest2.exe.zip
5) extract zip file into your EverQuest II folder.
6) launch EverQuest II through InnerSpace using the "No Patch" option.
7) never ever patch unless EQ2 tells you you need to patch.

Thank you so much! and thank you for such a fast response! Those instructions were great for my not so PC clever mind and worked beautifully!
