Crafting Pathing Issue: General Crafting & with Writs

I have been having horrible pathing issues in Freeport in the crafting zone doing both general crafting and doing writs as well.

It used to work perfectly 2 days ago or so and now I can't even find the path to the crafting tables.

I understand that there was an update and now there is a pathing option under the options tab. I have modified the default 1.5 from 0 to 99 at various increments to see if would change anything but I am still having problems.

The new "Fix" does not allow me to find the writ giver correctly, the broker, nor the fuel merchant.

Now I can't even do generic /non writ/ crafting where I just check the buy fuel option.

Can we have the Crafting Bot version back that worked 3 days ago please? I didnt have any problems with that one!

I'm seeing this as well. And this response is more for Val than anyone.

The movement precision is a good thing, However I think the percision scale for the destination point needs to be hard set, and the precision from point-to-point can use the variable percision.

To explain, I find I need a higher number to move around without looking like a bot on crack. So I use a value between 5-7. Problem is, if I stop 7 distance behind the point for the writ giver, I'm now out of range. So I needed lower percision in my point to point, but I failed to reach an acceptable deviation from my end point.

My craft bot is on steriods ever since the Forced Patch -- I tried the Graystone and Castleview Hamlet crafting instances. I am only able to successfully use it when I am at a craft station, and not moving. Setting the new precision option does not seem to affect this at all.

If I try to use any of the auto features, e.g. writs, purchasing from merchant or broker for supplies, etc), it basically runs back and forth multiple times and makes it very obvious that I am a malfuntioning bot...I looked at me from my wifes PC..it is very bad. =P

Is there a nav path I can update or something I am missing to correct this?

I'm having the same issue as Splash no matter what value is put in the precision option it still bounces around also nI noticed it does not save the value I put in. Every time i restart /craft it is always set to 1.5 this makes me think the xml file is not getting updated properly to store the value.

Update:
yep it's what i thought the character xml file is not getting updated when the value is changed in the UI. I went in and edited my character.xml and put in the value i wanted and it works fine.

To fix for now go into
innerspace\scripts\\eq2craft\character config\"charactername".xml

look for the line
<Setting Name="Pather Precision">1.500000</Setting>

change the 1.500000 to what number works for you
3.000000 worked for me.

Deleting my character files allowed it to put new ones there, and this fixed it for me too. That line was not even there for me before.

It works now, but it is still not fluid. I am concerned that someone will be able to tell that I am botting. Is there a way to update the nav paths and make it more smooth? Add more points?
