If you're crashing using the new Innerspace version, here's a couple of things you can try before rolling back entirely (presumably you'll need to upgrade eventually such as if the SDK extension version changes):
-Disable Creative Alchemy. I know it makes the game sound better because you hear things that for whatever reason Sony doesn't even attempt to play using software sound (which is probably more than powerful enough to actually handle the extra sounds nowadays), but it's incompatible with Innerspace. You have to pick - run the game directly with Creative Alchemy (works), or run the game with Innerspace but audio turned off.
-Disable anything that enhances the game like iz3d's driver that adds 3D capability. The new Innerspace just doesn't seem to like anything that has its own DLL.
That should help if you're crashing using Windows 7.
