Dbg Still Hunting?

Hi,

A while ago it seemed that there was a crack down in EQ2 on us with a lot of players getting Drundered.
After some time off and laying low I was wondering if this was still the case or have they let off a bit?

Would like to get back on and wondered what the current status was :)

Thanks

Honestly, the only people who got hit, weren't paying attention to any guidelines set forth.
Exploiting, duping, RMTing (selling plat on pa, for example), doing contested content, and generally disturbing real players.

I suspect if you break those guidelines now, they would likely jump to take you out.
If you are willing to follow the guidelines, you should be completely fine.

Thanks for the reply,

Good to hear, I was always very careful and made sure I was doing it within the guidelines.

Will be a good time to stretch the fingers and dust off the group.

What 'guidelines' are you speaking of might I ask? I haven't played in over a year due to some guild dramas, and I recently got the EQ2 multiboxing 'itch'.

Is it an unwritten one or is there a link somewhere (since I couldn't find it in the ISXeq2 forums) :) ?

Is it advised to NOT be seen with all your toons following you in public, or is it mainly just don't do contested zones to compete with normal players?

Thanks!

[edit]: Unless you're talking about the 'rules of bot club' post :D

Rules of bot club is more than likely what he is referring to. Don't draw unwanted attention to yourself. Most people play 1 toon at a time, with some able to run 2. Anything more than that and people start to question even the legit (non-botted) players.
