Dirge Dps - Tot

So this expac I've been struggling with my dirges DPS. From what I've seen in other raids, is that Dirges don't seem to be in a great place overall anyway, but always open for improvement.

How are others doing with Dirge this expac? I feel like mine is lacking somewhere. (Note - Heroic only, doesn't do x4 raids).

Gear Wise, I have it set up for support > DPS.

• Charms - Salvo + Group CB
• Weapons - Early Advantage/Anguish/Discombobulate (Screw Keys).
• Armour - Standard scout stuff.
• Cloak/Belt - Heroic Flurry.
• Wrists - Practiced Power/Tactics
• Rings - Underfoot x2
• Ears - F.Barrage/Magic Vulner
• Neck - Fervor Amulet

AA - Standard build. DD/CoD, Dragon Claws, WDB/CB Prestige etc.

Stats -

• 1.8k Crit
• 650 Haste
• 300 MA
• 1370cb
• 1505pot
• 1300 DPS
• 100 Cast/Reuse/AE
• 53k A.Mod.

I feel it is the cast stack which is lacking a bit, but not overly sure where best tweaks will come from.

Dirges are definately a struggle this expac, and tbh i'd be damned on what to do...if I felt the debuffs weren't required I'd drop him in a heartbeat lol

Bards in general seem to be absolute garbage. They are buff bots basically.

I feel like other than the top end bards, getting crazy 70-100m VCs, that is the only reason they are parsing anything.

They beat priests, and help your real DPS parse better. I've come to live with it this xpac.

Yeah that's the conclusion I've come to sadly, it still out parses healers decently, but isn't anywhere near chanters/DPS.

Guess I'll not waste much more time on it for a while

yeah, they've fallen behind unless you can charge your ro's perfectly like the top parsing dirges. Then again they also use diety spells to inflate their parse.

I just checked out my latest dummy parses I have saved and both bards did 4% of total dps both ST and AOE. Compare that to enchanters who did 9%, granted they mimic the ranger who just is getting pretty silly with dps numbers.
