Do I need to be in windowed mode to use Dotnet apps?

Im a newb and need to know if I need to be in windowed mode in order to get the dotnet apps to work? I tried the diplobot and it loaded fine but it minimized VG and would never let me back into VG. Thanks!

For dotnet applications that require a "window" (such as diplobot), you must be in windowed mode to see that window.

For dotnet applications that do not use any sort of GUI (ie, the isxGamesPatcher), then it will not matter.
