doesn't run in the background

The bot stops working if the game does not have focus. I'm using the latest stable version. I tried to search the boards and didnt see anyone else mention this. People do seem to be running multiple copies so I dont understand how they would be if it wasnt working in the background.

I have done some things such as if I undock then minimize the game the character will sit at undock until I re-maximize. The bot will not turn on mining lasers after warping if I minimize mid warp. If I wait for the bot to turn on 1 laser then minize it will only leave one on.

After doing these tests I'm positive I'm not imagining it I've even looked at the logs and it has listed mining lasers being turned on 2 minutes after the first one (tested it like this to make sure I wasn't crazy)

This works ok because I can still go AFK or use my other monitor to watch a movie but I can't play another game or do something else on the computer actively while botting.

I'm sure I'm missing something really stupid someone help me out.

Make sure that you have EVE running in WINDOWED mode, not full screen.
Do not minimize the EVE window. Use alt-tab or click another window's button in the task bar to switch.

EveBot makes use of the OnFrame event in Lavishscript for most of its tasks. The event is only posted when a frame is rendered. If you have Eve set to full screen and you alt-tab away from it frames are no longer rendered. I hadn't heard that minimizing Eve when it is windowed does the same thing but I'm not surprised.
