I have modified Syliacs original portbot script to have an access list.

Usage:
Open the script and set the owner of the bot.
If you dont set the owner you will not be able to send it tells to add people.

/tell bot add player -- Adds a player to the access list.
/tell bot del player -- removes the player from the access list.

/tell bot can i get a port? -- bot responds with where would you like to go and lists his port.

you can /invite bot and he will accept group invite only from people on the access list.

/tell bot disband group. -- self explanitory.

the access list is stored in XML/PortBot.xml

If anyone can improve on this script please do!
It has its issues with having to send it 2 tells to get it to port at times.

Can you give us some pointers on setting the owner. I looked at the file inside with the [SetOwnerNameHere] and put my toon's name and it still says unauthorized.

That should be all thats needed... [Jimmy]
Look in your /XML directory for a PortBot.XML
That is where the access list is supposed to be written to.
you may need to add it manually >Jimmy.Jimmy<
Its been awhile since I played EQ2.
